We had the pleasure of spending two nights at The Mangrove Resort and it was a great experience. The rooms were fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is located just 5 kilometers from Phuket Old Town and can be easily reached by taxi or the resort shuttle bus. Although there is no real beach, you can enjoy the coastline at low tide. Renting a motorbike from the resort is a good option to easily explore the area.

We stayed with the family for 1 day on the way and were so delighted that we will definitely come back, but for a longer stay. My daughter is 5 years old and she really liked the room and the pool, and thanks to the low tide (at 12-13 o'clock) we sat on the seashore and watched the crabs, there were a lot of them there. Our room was very cozy, with a large comfortable bed. The breakfast is excellent, everything you need is there. We really liked the territory of the hotel, green and different interesting things for the child. The location is good for us, we are by car, so there were no problems.
