If you're looking for a hostel experience, you've come to the right place. It's great.
But to be fair, I'll first mention the negatives.
The bathroom door doesn't lock, and it was fixed with a primitive additional latch.
The air conditioning is very cold, which is excellent, but the problem is that the air is directly on your face, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
There's no refrigerator.
There's no heater.
The towels are very worn, and I never used them because they look uncomfortable.
The price is above average.
As for the positives,
The overall atmosphere is great. The staff is very welcoming, and you easily get along with the guests due to the activities they organize, and the staff encourages all guests to participate.

I booked a private room to meet other solo travelers that didn’t go well. If this is the objective perhaps a shared room would be better. However, the hostel does go out of its way to arrange inclusive activities for everyone.
It’s really well set up with a restaurant/bar, pool hall, swimming pool and gym. The location is also bang on. It’s in the heart of Patong with a 5 minute walk to Patong beach. There are a variety of restaurants in the area. It’s definitely easy to navigate from this hostel.

Very cool place for solo travel,friends and even couples. You can make friends in the activities they have in the hostel and it has this very cool and relaxing area at the swimming pool.
The shared rooms have their own bathroom which is really cool too.
I would just complain about the elevator getting stuck more than once since I went there, they always fix it but if you are in 2nd floor just use the stairs haha
