Wyndham Garden Grandworld Phu Quoc

This is pretty much a huge closed in resort with a fantastic beach. Nice pool area and restaurants. Families, people that doesn’t know they are in vietnam or even want to be there. There is actually not much to complain about the business (except below) but you are once again transferred to a wanna be European place with a lot of empty storefronts. In specific our bed linen was washed but big stains in yellow and brown. Bathroom floor had sticky stains just at the entrance. So I guess this being a management issue where the crew has to little time assigned for room cleaning. Everything was promptly corrected after front desk was informed. If you are traveling to Vietnam there are better options. You might want to check out the local culture with happy smiling people and fantastic food. Just a suggestion, place is great if this is what you are looking for but don’t expect it to be vietnam. It could just be anywhere!

location is good, few mins walk to the beach, and few mins walk to the Grand World Nightly Light show place, where many shops and restaurants are there. There is free bus ride, Vinbus from airport to the hotel and also stops at the city centre. You can save some Grab money there. Facilities, Standard swimming pool and there are some staff oeganizing water polo games for hotel guests to join. they are fantastic. The slide is right there, but didnt open during my stay, a bit disappointed the things i dont like was that too many people smoked around the pool, which i felt very uncomfortable. The breakfast was fine, but there were so many people and staff were not able to keep the place clean. Please hire more staff. To conclude, the stay was fine, and it is value for money.
