Breakfast was quite good, the food was added quickly, great value for such a price, Via was a bit far from the Vini Bus station however still acceptable, this time no rental car was more troublesome.

Everything is great in the hotel except for the location. Well, that is, you need to be prepared to go to the sea - through another hotel to the sea and to the right about 20 meters for 8-10 minutes, and part of the road is really not very good - it is buried in garbage until you enter the hotel territory, and the gates are closed at 7 pm and if you stay longer at sunset, you will need to make a detour through the village - for me it was already at least 15 minutes. There are questions about the sea by the way - one day from this huge Ocean Bay through which we entered there was such a sewage that it was really uncomfortable on the beach and you could just see the pipes going into the sea. To shops, eateries and massages - also about 8 minutes along a dirty and unlit road. The hotel itself has everything, and a restaurant and a massage of course, but you can't just sit in it, well, and the prices are as expected x2, but this is normal. The bungalows themselves are cool, spacious, the bathroom is also large and comfortable (only the water needs to be drained for 5-7 minutes to get hot, which they write about right away). The pool is cool, open until 9 pm. The restaurant is good - both breakfasts and delicious dinners. No issues with the service, everything is clear and very friendly, both the reception and the restaurant. There are free bikes, but you can't ride them in the evening without power.

This is our favourite resort! It’s our second time staying here and we are even more in love with it the staff than the first time!
Kai and Diem are amazing receptionists and we consider them friends! Bao, senior server and the breakfast staff Minh and Nuong are always ready to help and waiting with smiles as are all the breakfast staff, sorry I don’t know all of their names.
I got bad food poisoning in Hanoi and was very sick the first night we arrived but the staff was very helpful and concerned and helped us through it. They are all very genuine and special people.
The resort is spotless and all the rooms are spotless. The cleaning ladies are the sweetest!! The grounds and pool are maintained all day everyday. The beds and bedding are super comfy. The air con is cold and the shower has good water pressure and is hot.
Breakfast is super! So many options and all delicious. The most amazing baguette I’ve had in Vietnam and I am still dreaming about it! Many choices of Vietnamese, western and Asian foods. Good coffee and excellent fruit selection.
You can rent motorbikes at the resort. There are many options of food close to the resort.
There is really nothing I can say negative about Kingo Resort Retreat, I would like to keep the resort all to myself but the secret is out because it really is very good and very booked up especially during the holidays.
Really a fantastic intimate resort. Quiet and private away from the busy city of Phu Quoc.
We will be back, that is for sure!! 10/10!!!

I stayed for two nights.
The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy, so I had a pleasant stay!
The omelette and pho for breakfast were exceptional.
I added my own ingredients to the banh mi and it was delicious!
I'd like to stay here again when I come to Phu Quoc Island.
