Ngoc Trai Xanh Bungalow

A beautiful self-contained mini resort type accommodation - a series of large terraced apartments with spacious porches set out in a square around a decent sized pool and courtyard area. The front desk was very helpful and assisted with anything that we needed, although Google translate may be required here and there. The rooms themselves were very clean, however you may expect to have the odd visitor in the form of a gecko (did not see a single roach in any area during our 3 day stay). The rooms have everything you need such as air con, TV, fridge etc. the hot water for shower may take a little while to pull through but it is there - the shower heads are mounted a little low on the wall so anybody tall may struggle unless they use the less powerful overhead rainfall style shower head. The location is a bit remote and a minimum 15 minute scooter ride is needed to get anywhere with decent infrastructure - the bungalows do rent out scooters for a average price although they may be a little run down. This is kind of off set by the very casual nature of the transaction - it’s very much take the keys, do what you want and pay later, no inspections etc. Would recommend to anybody that wants a bit of peace out of the way of busy areas but is confident and willing to jump on a scooter to get to where they need.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The place was amazing and they even had a swimming pool which is very needed especially when you're out the whole day with the hot and humid weather. The lady allowed me to check out late without any extra fees! Which I have requested before I came here.

Just a heads up, there might be some bugs around, especially when it’s raining. Also, there’s karaoke, but it’s a bit loud. But hey, the staff is super friendly and they’re open 24/7 to check in. They’re also really good at taking care of you if you need anything.

This stay was very peaceful in a quiet area. I would recommend staying here & renting a scooter as this is a less touristy area & is further away from places to visit. There is a local market area a short walk away which is really nice to walk around. The rooms & pool is kept very clean. We slept fantastic. We loved our stay here! Thank you very much.

It’s nice hotel . The location isn’t at the centre of the city. It’s better if you will have motorcycles to go to market or restaurants
