The lady at the breakfast restaurant had a very nice smile and it was a pleasant experience!
The room was also clean.
However, even though I asked them to clean the bathroom, they didn't clean it every time.
The replenishment of amenities was also haphazard, and even when the cotton swabs ran out, they weren't replenished.
Even though I had used the coffee cup, it was never washed.

Firstly I would like to thank Trip com for contacting the hotel and the service you provided.
As for the service from the hotel, it was insulting.
Booked a deluxe balcony room with aircon but the aircon wasn't working and was then asked if I would like a fan, which I declined. I was moved to another deluxe room but was informed that I would have to move again the next day as it was pre-booked. Next day was when the fun began. I was then moved to a standard twin room next to a room under construction, which was impossible to stay in due to the constant drilling and banging. I explained this to the receptionist and was moved to the room below this with the same noise problems. Once again I'm moved and again into a standard twin room. Much better as there was less noise but still not the deluxe room I initially booked. It was then that I contacted Trip.com and explained the situation. After around an hour the receptionist came and I moved again into a family room with a balcony. The room was ok apart from only one half of the room was cleaned ( view the photos)
Thanks for your help Trip com and a big thank you to Silver mounts for ruining a few relaxing days in Phnom phen.

1. In the past, if you checked in early, you could arrange it as long as there was a room available. This time, not only can you not check in early, but you have to wait until after 14:00.
(The hotel’s name used to be Silver River but was changed to Silver Mount after the epidemic)
2. I took the room card and went upstairs. Before I reached the door of the room, the front desk came running up the stairs. I changed rooms on the spot. It turned out that the air conditioner was broken.
3. You can still see signs warning against robberies in Phnom Penh hotels. You should be careful when visiting here.

I stayed for four nights in a row. The hotel service was good. The breakfast was Western-style, which I didn’t really like to eat. I ate out myself, but it varies from person to person. The front desk is also very welcoming. The room is cleaned every day. There are a lot of places to eat around, and it's very close to the palace. It's only a ten-eight minute walk.
