Wauw! Wat hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Je wordt op handen gedragen. Eten is heerlijk, huisje is perfect, locatie en uitzicht zijn top. Bij aankomst wordt je super lief ontvangen, huisje bevat alles wat je nodig hebt en is voorzien van alle kleine dingen die je zelf kan vergeten. Eigenaresse, mega aardige vrouw! Wij zouden zeker teruggaan.

We loved everything about our stay at Casart Game Lodge – from the stunning views from the terrace and pool to the beautiful lodges, and from the delicious food to the incredible game drives. But what we enjoyed most were the people: everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We truly felt at home! We would 100% recommend Casart Game Lodge to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Casart Lodge. Sonia and her team were amazing hosts. Such a beautiful and quiet lodge with an incredible view, amazing food and lovely staff. Happy - our guide - was unbelievable, we learned a lot on our game drives and had great animal encounters including lions on our last drive. Thank you so much for everything, we will be back!!

Staying at Casart was such a treat for us. The staff was amazing and the owner really helpful. We especially enjoyed the pool + terrace with amazing view over the bush. The game drives with ranger Happy were definitely the biggest highlight for us. He was so passionate, his enthusiasm was contagious. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Wow this was a 5 star experience! In the middle of the bush you will find the Casart Game Lodge so you get the full experience being in nature. Great bed, big bathroom and very clean. Sonia and her amazing team were very helpful, welcoming and just great! From the pool looking out over the bush we saw a large herd of Elephants drinking water - insain!!! Also during our Game Drives organised by Happy we saw a lot and great to here all about the bush and the animals that lived there from a very experienced Ranger 5 stars! The food was very tasteful and creative table design made all the difference. Thank you guys when we can we will be back!

Dies war unser vierter Aufenthalt in der Casart Game Lodge in den letzten 10 Jahren... und mit Sicherheit (wieder) nicht der Letzte! Die Casart Game Lodge ist eine Perle im afrikanischen Busch. Südafrika von seiner schönsten Seite. Sonia und Ihr ganzes Team haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir wieder eine unvergessliche Woche hier verbringen durften. Hier stimmt wirklich alles! 2 wunderschöne Rondavels mit eigenem Whirlpool auf der Terrasse. Von den Rondavels blick auf das Wasserloch der Lodge. Totale Privatsphäre. Ein wunderschöner Bereich mit Restaurant, schönem, gepflegten Pool, toller Poolterrasse mit Blick auf das Wasserloch und die afrikanische Tierwelt. Das Essen ist fantastisch! Die Auswahl an Getränken (zu sehr fairen Preisen!) lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr gutes WLAN in allen Bereichen der Lodge (auch am Rondavel). Alles ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und top gepflegt! Die Game-Drives mit unserem Ranger Happy im Grietjie Private Nature Reserve (in dessen Herzen sich die Casart Game Lodge befindet) waren fantastisch. Erlebnisse und Eindrücke die wir unser ganzes Leben nicht vergessen werden.. Thank you Happy!!!! Lust auf einen "typischen Urlaubstag" in der Casart Game Lodge? Bitteschön... ;-) 05.00 Uhr: aufstehen! Einen Kaffee aus der sich im Rondavel befindlichen Nespresso Maschine auf der eigenen Terrasse. Die Sonne geht auf über dem afrikanischen Busch... Die vielen Vögel sind schon aktiv und deutlich wacher als ich. Das Impala, das 5 Meter vor dem Rondavel vorbei läuft auch.. ;-) 05.30 Uhr: Start zum Morning Drive mit Happy unserem Ranger. Ca. 3 Stunden Erlebnis im offenen Safarifahrzeug einschließlich einer Pause am Fluss. Happy hat alles dabei.. einschließlich einer guten Tasse heißen Kaffee... wer will, auch Kaffee "ranger-style" (Kaffee mit einem Schuss Amarula... fantastisch!) 08.30 Uhr: Rückkehr zur Lodge. 09:00 Uhr: gemütliches Frühstück im offenen Restaurant... den einen oder anderen Blick Richtung Wasserloch riskieren... Vielleicht sind ja die Elefanten schon da.. 10:30 Uhr: Relaxen auf der Sonnenterasse. Die ca. 300 Fotos vom morgendlichen Game Drive "sichten" und die 10 schönsten davon über WhatsApp nach Hause schicken... natürlich mit dem "Vermerk", dass die Sonne von einem wolkenlosen Himmel scheint und es um 11.30 Uhr schon 30 Grad im Schatten hat. Diese Info kommt Zuhause in Deutschland immer sehr gut an... Mitte November. ;-) 16:00 Uhr: Start zum Evening Drive einschließlich Sundowner in der afrikanischen Wildnis mit einem guten Glas südafrikanischem Wein. 19:00 Uhr: Rückkehr zu Lodge. 19:30 Uhr: Abendessen bei Kerzenschein 20.30 Uhr: Ein Amarula auf Eis am Feuer in der Lounge auf der Lodge Terrasse. Irgendwo da hinten hört man in der Ferne die Löwen brüllen.. 21.00 Uhr: Den Tag im eigenen, 40 Grad warmen Whirlpool am Rondavel ausklingen lassen.. Na, Lust auf Afrika bekommen? Besides the beautiful property and excellent location, what truly made our stay unforgettable were the people. Sonia gave us such a warm and heartfelt welcome, and the staff was incredibly kind, always going out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. Fikile, Agrineth, Stanford, Sharon and obviously Maxime - Thank you!!! Special thanks for the wonderful dance lessons! :D I guess Stanford still thinks about it from time to time. Special greetings to our fellow guests from Schwabenland—you were the best company we could have asked for. A big thank you also goes to our guide, Happy, who ensured we enjoyed every moment of the three game drives. Happy, you truly lived up to your name—you made us so happy! All in all: extraordinary.
