We had a lovely stay in Pettanesco, Italy, and the lake was absolutely beautiful—perfectly located and so serene. Each morning, we looked forward to breakfast and were warmly greeted by Clara, who was incredibly helpful. She gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and really understood what we were looking for, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of our favorite parts was the easy access to boat rentals through the front desk.The hotel itself would definitely benefit from having a bar or lounge, especially for enjoying cocktails by the lounge chairs while soaking in the stunning views. Housekeeping was efficient, though there was a small misunderstanding: I had asked for a laundry bag, and instead, our laundry was done and charged without me explicitly requesting it. Also, due to the humidity, we noticed ants in the room, and there was no proper storage space or drawers for clothing, which made unpacking a bit tricky. That said, the room had a great view and the overall vibe was peaceful and quiet—just what we wanted for a relaxing anniversary celebration.

Luogo incredibile con uno scorcio sul lago bellissimo, la struttura è molto moderna e tenuta in modo impeccabile e offre molte opportunità come una splendida piscina con vista lago e un ampio patio relax con sdraio e lettini, inoltre c’è la possibilità di accedere alla SPA e di consumare un aperitivo di qualità nel dehor del ristorante. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile e pronto a rispondere a tutte le richieste. L’unico appunto che posso fare è la scelta delle tende invece di tapparelle o persiane in quanto la mattina la camera diventa illuminata e infine avrei preferito avere delle prese in più vicino al letto per poter ricaricare i diversi dispositivi, invece di avere li il tablet e il telefono.

Ovviamente una location molto bella direttamente sul lago e non ci aspettavamo di meno, quello che un po’ è mancato è stato il servizio, leggermente caotico, sicuramente non a livello stellare, cucina interessante ma senza l’effetto wow che è lecito aspettarsi… probabilmente lo riproveremo ma per ora la valutazione è appena sufficiente.

Abbiamo prenotato una cena di anniversario, infrasettimanale, piuttosto sul presto. Ancora poca gente, posto elegante senza eccessi fuori luogo, personale estremamente gentile ed attento. Cucina superlativa, una bella esplosione di sapori, restando nella leggerezza dei piatti. Bella vista sul lago, soprattutto al tramonto. Tutto ordinato, pulito, essenziale (nell'accezione più positiva). Ottima esperienza, da ripetere.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was spotless and had everything you would need. Beautiful walk around lake area. Felt very safe. Lots of near by villages to explore. We took an unexpected trip to Domodossola which was well worth the 45 minute drive to see the foothills of the alps along the drive and the old historic city which had amazing charm.
