I stayed here for 6 days, I knew the hotel as I used to walk past it daily when I lived in the area. It has been sold, pics will show this. Bed very comfortable, hard and soft pillows, staff very accommodating, was told it was a non smoking hotel when I checked in. I can only write what I experienced and provide pictures. I left on Friday morning. Room very clean.

Without a doubt, the worst Hotel, but I have ever stayed in. Where do I begin? The mattress was terrible springs and lumps. I had to turn it over to find some comfort. I went to reception at 10:30 and there was no one there. There was no duvet, and the bedding that was on the bed stank. The shower did not work. In the morning, I went to complain, and there was no one to complain too. So if you want to leave a hotel, feeling as though you would have been better off, sleeping in your car, and perhaps smelling sweeter than for Lodge, hotel is definitely for you . I would seriously avoid it at all costs. I complained to *********** requesting a full refund, and they offered me a derisory amount, and I have refused that amount. Just don’t stay there

Either side of my ground floor back room, the people were very noisy all evening. Assume they are permanent residents as they have seating outside. Playing loud films and computer games until we’ll after midnight. Have dog which barks and dog poo piled up in one corner of patio. Felt uncomfortable and nervous staying here.

Had to travel to Peterborough for a meeting at short notice. Definitely the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Absolutely stinks of cigarette smoke, even in our en-suite. Mould in bathroom and also above tv in bedroom. Room light wasn’t working, couldn’t turn radiator off. Was given pliers to do it ourselves but we couldn’t. Would never ever go back there

Got there it took ages to book In had to call someone using my own phone, the two people that turned up were very rude. Got into the room and the carpets were dirty, holes in the doors, the plug sockets were broken and someone stole the TV remote. The rooms needed an upgrade cause it looked like I was staying with my nans. Thought I was having breakfast but found out they don't do it but that wasn't a problem we went weatherspoons. After moaning to a women she moved us to a better room. People were banging all night must of been having a party, someone must of been hard of hearing cause everyone could hear the TV.

I felt very unsafe in this hotel, someone tried to get into my room at one point and there were drunk patrons and dogs running around into the early hours. Had to check into a Premier Inn at 2am. I would not stay here again.

This is not a hotel it is a hovel and I pity anyone like me who had to stay there. The owner should be ashamed to call this a hotel and charge guests to stay there. The place is a disgrace and should be closed down. The check in took over half an hour in a reception area containing dirty and stained carpets and furniture. The corridors and stairways to the room stank, unclean, badly maintained and just disgusting. The room was pitiful, disgusting offering no comfort whatsoever. The mattress on the bed was old and past its usefulness, the bed had no duvet or blankets just a thin bed cover, so it was freezing throughout the night. The curtains were pinned to one end of the window which you could not close properly. The bathroom was dreadful, carpeted floor which was dreadfully stained especially around the toilet bowl, brown marks that you can guess where they came from. The shower was not working and I would not have used it as it had not been cleaned for an age. The rate booked said it included breakfast however the restaurant had been closed for months. Security was a joke !!! the front door to the building was unlocked at all times and when I returned at midnight was wide open. This is not a hotel, it should be closed down by the authorities and de-listed by *********** (but they said they won’t) PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS
