Staff were great; food was good; beer was ok; atmosphere in bar good as Open Mic night - but the room was worse than tired, no hot water, no lamps by bed, no Wi-Fi code(bar Pwd never worked in room) I would avoid this place - sorry

I would like to say this is the worst place I’ve ever seen Dirty need of repair updating , I couldn’t stay there They had a private ticket event going on which we would of had to eat our meal with the load music and the noise underneath our room was awful So much for a relaxing afternoon and rest before dinner Please don’t book

I booked the Falcon Hotel, Whittlesey for a family gathering for a special birthday. With 65 guests in attendance, I found the service provided by Colin, Sharon and the team to be first class. From initial booking, listening to our needs and delivery on the day, everything was handled most profesionally. The food was of excellent quality. The function room was an ideal size and accessible for our guests, some of whom had mobilty issues, along with the ground floor accessible WC. Colin even ordered a special cask ale specifically for the event, that I requested in advance(Tydd Steam Barn Ale). We brought our own birthday cake and Sharon expertly cut this for us. Some of us a booked rooms to stay over and these were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was top class. Absolutely no complaints.

old world charm that could use updating.
the Falcon is a very old building and shows it with steep stairs,funny passages and odd steps.i stayed in Room 2 , a double with spare single bed.overlooking the front street.Luckily it was a warm night as none of the window furniture shut the windows as all-it would have been freezing in winter.The double bed could use a new mattress.The shower is fine drzzle despite a pump fitted.
i ate a dinner which was adequate in size but a bit too much "microwave and pub grub" - beer was speckled Hen whch was ok
