Podere Caldaruccio la Pineta

Non ci andate!! Ho chiamato per prenotare per due notti per una wonderbox regalatami che prevedeva una notte e cena o una notte e colazione o due notti. Chiamo e il signor Michele mi propone un’integrazione di ben 140€, premetto che la risposta alla mia mail di disponibilità, inizialmente , è “noi non disponiamo ci camere ma di soluzioni di più alto livello, boa bla bla” con mille autoelogi e un prezzo di 50€ a persona per notte e 25€ per bambini (noi eravamo in 3, di cui una bimba di 9 anni). Arriviamo li e ci accoglie il padre di Michele, un signore molto cordiale e carino. Ci dá le chiavi della baita e ci troviamo in questa camera di 40 m puzzolente di vecchio, con 3 letti, un bagno pieno di perdite e macchie di umiditá, con una tavoletta del water nemmeno ben fissata che ti faceva passare la voglia di andare in bagno. Chiaramente abbiamo fatto colazione al bar e dormito soltanto li ma appena tornati a casa ci siamo resi conto di essere pieni tutti e tre di piccole bolle rosse su gran parte del corpo, che giorno per giorno sono diventate più grandi e tanto tanto pruriginose. Ebbene sono 5 giorni che ci imbottiamo di cortisone e antistaminici per bocca ma il prurito ci impedisce di dormire e ancora siamo nel pieno della manifestazione. NON CI ANDATE, perchè per quanto il posto fosse apparentemente pulito evidentemente sarà pieno di animaletti e ragni nel letto. Vivamente SCONSIGLIATO, anzi ritenetevi fortunati se non faccio una segnalazione alla asl!!

Ho contattato il Podere per richiedere di prenotare un soggiorno tramite cofanetto Wonderbox. Il proprietario della struttura, con tono sgradevole e davvero poco professionale, mi ha gentilmente (si fa per dire) invitata a prenotare altrove, affermando - cito testualmente - che «con la prenotazione tramite cofanetto, non si rientra nemmeno delle spese per la signora delle pulizie». Sono davvero spiacente per la pessima esperienza di contatto con questa struttura, ma, d'altra parte, sono sollevata di non aver avuto l'occasione di soggiornare in un posto come questo: laddove si lavora perseguendo solamente il mero guadagno economico, non esisterà mai ospitalità.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, Michele molto disponibile e socievole ci ha saputo dare informazioni per migliorare ancora il nostro soggiorno, posto meraviglioso e punto strategico per visitare i vari luoghi d'interesse, la proprietà è da sogno e la vista spettacolare speriamo di poterci ritornare, abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici.

Languages spoken (5/5): Italian, English, French, and German. Welcome (5/5): upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. Their kindness and helpfulness made us feel at home right away. They spared no time and energy in explaining everything about the estate, passionately and masterfully illustrating the history and architecture of the Podere and the Torre Castello. The accommodation reserved for us was the Baita. There, they showed us all the amenities available and gave us a comprehensive overview of the services offered, from the swimming pool to exploring the picturesque surroundings. Their attention to detail and genuine desire to make our stay memorable made this experience truly special. Staff (5/5): their helpfulness is overwhelming! Always ready to provide personalized advice on local attractions, restaurants and must-see events. Their dedication to ensuring each guest has a unique experience during their stay at this magnificent estate is definitely worthy of a special mention. Location and landscape (5/5): the Podere is a true pearl snuggled in the beautiful Umbrian landscape, surrounded by gentle hills, cypresses, centuries-old pines, lush vineyards and olive groves. It offers breathtaking views in every direction. The structure is entirely framed by the most genuine nature (there are plants and trees of all kinds, not just fruit trees), which blends well with its intact original charm. The internet connection is fast and available throughout the property. Rooms and amenities (5/5): Spacious apartment, tastefully furnished and equipped with all comforts. Extremely comfortable beds, high-quality linens, always perfectly clean bathroom, free and fast WiFi. In particular, having stayed in the Baita, we can say that you can find everything you expect to feel at home, starting with four beds (an extremely spacious double bed and two single ones), two refrigerators, two hot/cold split units, washing machine, oven, microwave, safe and so on and so forth. All the furniture is extremely refined and sought after. The headboard of the bed is even of noble extraction: it belonged to a Count! The outdoor area includes a large sun umbrella, a table decorated with beaten iron chairs, an outdoor wicker lounge set, two modern sun loungers and two comfortable Izmir chairs. Privacy is not lacking. Cleanliness (5/5): The cleaning standards at the Podere are truly exceptional. Every single corner is taken care of in the smallest details and always impeccable, from the rooms to the bathrooms, from the common areas to the wonderful gardens. Truly unparalleled.
