Travelodge Perth A9

After a 5 hour drive on a hot day we were looking forward to a restful night and we weren’t disappointed. Our room was cool and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep on both nights. The hotel is very quiet and met all of our needs. A comfortable bed, a fan to cope with the heat and extra pillows. We will definitely return when in the area. The reception area was spotless and the young woman who checked us in was very friendly and efficient, she actually remembered us from the last time we stayed in the hotel. Can’t say a bad word about our stay.

The staff lovely. So friendly. Made us feel welcome. I personally have hearing disability and walking disability and I had registered this on application for a room. The staff made sure this was catered for. Every day each member of staff from reception to cleaning staff had time for friendly words. Will book there again

Standard Travel Lodge. Comfy bed and all very clean and functioning. Easy to find and being on the A9 makes it a great base to view the surrounding area. The Glover Arms is next door and offers great food.

an overnight stop on a long journey from Orkney to the midlands. A great place to pause and sleep! Good food at pub next door!

I booked in advance, a family room to stay Saturday overnight to participate in the Etape Caledonia early Sunday morning. However due to family members with other commitments, I ended up coming up alone and had room all to myself. This is not my first time staying in Travelodges. As a road cyclist, I always seek out Travelodges to stay because they are always consistently excellent, as this one in Perth A9 was too. I would happily describe the stay as great value for money, clean, comfortable, well equipped in en-suite room with kettle and coffee making, and with TV. Very plush comfortable mattress and pillows with crisp clean white bed linen. As I drove, it was important to have the free onsite Carpark. However the outstanding most important feature of Travelodge Hotel chain policy is the allowance for clients to bring bicycle into room. And for this reason I always plan to seek a Travelodge to stay when I have my precious road bicycle with me. For all the above reasons, if there is a Travelodge nearby where I wish to stay, especially when I am cycling, I do not need to look elsewhere, it will be my first choice. The woman in charge at the hotel was enormously helpful. I had a terrible experience with a campervan rental company & had to relinquish the camper and received none of my payment in return. They dropped me off at this hotel & the person in charge helped me with finding other campers as well as just being sincerely concerned & helpful. I was very upset with the actions of the campervan company & felt that they abused their power and took total unfair advantage of the situation. It was great to be in a place where someone seemed genuinely concerned & tried their best to help me out.
