Absolutely amazing in every way, accommodating in every way. The food is out of this world. I have eaten in a lot of places in Cyprus and never tasted food as good as the windmills. All staff are very friendly and will go over and above. Would highly recommend.

Came to this hotel with my husband and 6yr old grandaughter on 2nd July till 16th I did start to get worried reading some reviews but I can honestly say it was one of our best holludays stayed in a studio which I was worried would be too small but it was a very spacious room yes basic but great for price the cleaners done an excellent job and the placewas spotless they came in every day except once a week plenty fresh towels and linen it's a family run hotel and they can't do enough for you loads of restuarants bars around and beach very close we lived it so much we are going back next week the 6th Aug for a week I can honestly say this is my happy place yes it's not 5 star but they make you feel at home

Well where do I start… avoid this place at all cost!!, we upgraded upon arrival to a one bedroom apartment as we had a 15 year old son with us and the original room was a shoe box, to upgrade cost €160 euro for a week, also we needed air conditioning which was an extra charge of €170. One of the air conditioning units didn’t work, so had to complain, then we had no hot water for three days, I have never stayed in such a dirty run down room, the room was full of dust, all cupboard doors falling off, bath, toilet was dreadful, we had no clean towels of clean bed linen for five days… pool area was filthy and never seen the pool area get cleaned.. when complained the manager just looks at you and walks away.. never again, people especially with families need to be warned about the rooms.

Let me put the record straight on the review A E left First of all I was there the same week and saw no fighting or police! Not 1 cockroach was seen! Why walk 40 minutes when the was a bus every 15 minutes and was only 2 euros? The only thing I saw was the waiting staff having to put with rude arrogant British. I was embarrassed to be British. My room was cleaned every other day with fresh sheets and towels and I actually went to reception to say how good the cleaners were. It's a family business who work bloody hard along with their staff. Some people need to think before they speak! Every member of staff were as helpful and friendly as they could be. I ate there every day and the food was of a good standard. Would I return, definitely. The only downside and it's so throughout Cyprus is smoking in restaurants. I had read some of the bad reviews on here and was worried by some reviews. Within the first day all my worries had subsided. It's not a 5 star hotel and that relates in the price, but it's definitely 5 star service.

2nd visit to The Windmills, welcomed by everyone as a returning guest. The whole team are so friendly and helpful all the time. Lovely studio appartment, clean and tidy. The pool is great always clean & appealing. The bar & restaurant menus are fantastic and the food is always great. Can't wait for the next visit ❤️

Dirty old outdated apartments,Didn’t supply cooking equipment,They don’t clean and change your linen as often as they should,Like to bully women at the bar,Fights and police there a lot of the other places around state there not a very desirable family to run a business including the bouncer,They get very angry when you complain don’t like criticism.Avoid at all cost it’s not got a lot going on the area as the main protaras is 40 min walk
