Golden Coast Beach Hotel

Amazing location with lovely coastal views and great facilities

I went to the Golden Coast Beach Hotel the end of April this year for 10nights all inclusive to get married to my long term partner. It was just Wow in every aspect. The wedding planner called Felicity was amazing, I could not have wished for anyone else. Felicity was very appoachable, friendly and professional. It made my job so easy so I could enjoy my day. I would recommend anyone getting married at the Golden Coast Beach Hotel to use Felicity. The Hotel was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and very helpful. We are looking at going back next year for our first anniversary

This review is about the spa and the spa ONLY: We had an offer come through our door with a few treatments we opted for the facial being €50.00. The indoor pool is quite cold I wouldn’t say it’s heated and neither was the jacuzzi. We went into the sauna and it was mild, we asked the lady at reception she said it was on a timer and that she’s sorted it so we get some heat going again. Eventually the sauna became really nice. The steam room was a lot for me so left that. On to the facial, we saw Giovanni. Lovely guy! He did a lovely hydro facial on us. For me when I come to the spa I prefer less chat just to get that relaxation element. We had a chat for the first 15/20 mins out of the 40 mins it’s rude to not respond so I answered questions etc. there was a bit of a faff around me too like running back and forth from the chair for the water and loud banging of the creams on the rack BUT eventually I got super comfortable and fell asleep. The ladies at the spa reception are lovely and so accommodating. We thought we’d get a bit of a shoulder press down but we didn’t and we did ask for this too but the therapist recommended a scalp massage. We were informed by reception that we can get scalp neck and a bit of shoulders massage. I don’t recommend the hydro facial for €50 only because there was just a lot of creams wipe, exfoliate wipe, mask, massage, wipe. The wipe was cold too not even warm so not sure how that was opening my facial pores for the product to really get in there. The oils they seem to use are natural and smell so nice so I’d recommend a body massage if on offer. They have a wonderful relaxing room with these bed couches which are super comfortable!! Also, for the team - please note not everyone is comfortable with a male therapist. Future reference, please ask the customers if they are OK with it I would have preferred a female that’s my personal preference as I’m a female and never had a male therapist before. Just back from an amazing week at this stunning hotel. Everything , from the friendly,smiling ,efficient staff was top class. We stayed in suite 409 which was outstanding. Very impressed with the attention to detail of mirrors, sockets where they should be and toiletries. Soft fluffy towels and dressing gowns. The hotel grounds are immaculate with everything you need at hand. Plenty of sunbeds and pool towels provided daily. Lovely beach on your doorstep and promenade to walk along. The food on offer was plentiful and tasty and we were looked after very well by Stelios and staff. The pool bar food and drinks were great with ,again, terrific service. Didn't use the spa but the ladies were lovely. The pool was a bit nippy but there is a heated indoor pool. Could go on and on but suffice to say this is a top class hotel.

I cannot fault this hotel. From start to finish it was the best experience of a holiday I think i have ever had. Hotel is stunning, atmosphere is warm and friendly. Staff throughout the hotel are so attentive, a special shout out for Barbara who was my therapist at the spa, the massage was amazing and again Barbara made me feel most comfortable. Location is withing walking distance to a small ***** with bars and restaurants and if you fancy a trip into Protaris the bus is right outside the hotel and is only 2 euro each. On sight you have a wee shop that sells anything you need and just across the road is also a large supermarket. My husband an I had the most amazing, relaxing time at this wonderful hotel and we are booking up for next year.
