Great location The apartment was in comfortable with a great view

Great location within walking distance to the train station. Very quiet, not once did we hear the trains. Very comfortable.

Excellent location and very close to town and restaurants. There is an incline to get to the property if you are walking from the train station which is only 7-10 mins. However, it is not that bad. The property is easy to access. There are a few items that needed repair while we stayed. there are no toiletries in the apartment so make sure you have enough shampoo and soaps. Also we had ants everywhere in the apartment. It was not a big deal. We just placed all of our food in the refrigerator. One last item, they give you a very thin pillow to sleep. If you need more, you will need to communicate with Oscar. There are two many codes for the house. However it is manageable. Would we stay again? Because of its location-yes. However next time, I will carry my extra pillow and pesticide the house before we go in :) the location can not be beat.

Excellent location directly above the train station (not noisy) and a few blocks walk to the lake, shopping, restaurants, bars, the ferry etc. This lodging location is nearly brand new, very modern, with an excellent kitchen area, full refrigerator and other kitchen appliances, an outdoor patio right off the living room that has views of the lake, surrounding mountains, the activity at the train station, etc. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful at the last minute when our intended lodging location fell through. The cost here is also reasonable considering that you're at Lake Como with all of the amenities provided here. [There is not laundry.] I've stayed in Varenna before at Villa Monastero which is beautiful with its gardens and on-the-lake location. Residenze Decimina is a much more modern place, about the same walking distance to most of the places you'll visit in town, but at a much more reasonable cost. No gardens, of course, but still a very good option for a place to stay in the Varenna / Lake Como area. I would absolutely stay here again when I return.
