早餐還不錯,浴室水挺小的,有時候會沒熱水,住在頂樓會被海鷗撞窗户,被吵醒好幾次,但是房間很大,這個還可以

Such a beautiful setting in the quaint idyllic town of Mousehole. The typical Cornwall Pub downstairs has great beer and the inn upstairs was comfortable and our room was beautiful and clean. The negative would be that our room was right over the dining area and the swinging door between the kitchen and dining room kept us up at night and woke us up early in the morning and even one time caused our entire bed to shake. The staff was friendly and lovely.

The room that I stayed in was a single room on the ground floor. Quite little but fine for an overnight stop. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities were good. Beautiful location right by the harbour. Downsides are that people passing peer in and there was a loud crowd outside the pub on that particular night, but that was no fault of the team. I had to leave early but the staff accommodated a continental breakfast for me and were cheerful and welcoming. It’s probably a bit small for a longer stay. Tip - book a table to eat before arriving as the pub was not taking bookings on the night, busy evening.

My room was nice but I had a few issues unfortunately with it, the worst one was the smell in the showroom which I went to mention straight away and a member of staff brought a defuse for it. There was a hairline crack in the sink basin, two lightbulbs were not working ( which I mentioned the next day) and a few holes in the curtain. My evening meal and breakfast were very nice and the member of staff at breakfast was very warm and friendly.

This place is dirty, tired, overpriced and mis-sold. We arrived at the pub and was shown to our accommodation which I can only describe as a HMO…musty smell, tired paintwork and carpet and woodchip on the walls…yes, that’s woodchip. When I booked I was told I wasn’t going to have a view of the harbour, fine, but I wasn’t told our view would be the back courtyard with 2 broken sheds in it. The room itself was small which meant the bed was tiny, there was a hole in the wall from the door handle and one of the dusty blinds only lifted on one side. The pub itself isnt much better. We got a drink when we arrived and found a window seat…it wasn’t long until my wife pointed out that the cushion I was sat on had gone from red, I believe, to dark brown with dirt. There is a coffee machine in the side bar that has never seen a cloth to the back or underneath it…it’s just been wiped around? How do you do that? There is no provision for the smokers outside so they just throw their cigarettes on the floor outside into the gutter. The restaurant is tired and needs a lick of paint and a deep clean…the window cills are dusty and the dried flowers had cobwebs in them…? There is a fire/smoke sensor just hanging from the ceiling in there. And then there is the food…mediocre at best. I was misled by the website offering the best of local produce…let me tell you there was nothing local or freshly cooked. My burger was made elsewhere and bought in. And someone in the morning can’t cook eggs. I was charged £310 for that privilege…I’ve a good mind to ask for a refund as I feel I was mid sold that stay. If you want to stay in Mousehole I can recommend the old coastguard hotel. We ate there on the Saturday…Proper food and a beautiful beer garden sit and watch the sun go down. I’d give this place one star but the all female staff were amazing

The staff were fantastic and the room was clean. Unfortunately the room was tired and badly in need of redecoration. Heavily stained carpets, plaster coming off the walls, rusty radiators and mouldy grout in the shower. Only cold water available from the sink. A spurious £20 has been taken from my credit card after I had already paid for my room. I have called on numerous occasions and nobody answers the phone. I am unable to leave a message and the recording advised me to email instead. Unfortunately they don't tell you the email address. If you go onto the website there is no email contact and it advises people to call! An absolute shambles.
