The rooms are clean and tidy with an artistic touch. The waiters are warm and friendly and help us a lot. The hotel is very close to the train station, bus station and the seaside, and it is very convenient to eat, live and travel.

No parking. Fine if you want to be welcomed by a woman with rings in their face. Paid a lot of money through booking. Com. Demand credit card on arrival in case you steal their soap. Room small and cluttered smelt of dogs. After paying all that money they charge your card a fortune for a bit of breakfast. Thanks Ron and Peter.

Having seen pictures of the pork belly with creamed leaks and mash, was disappointed with a small portion of tasteless overcooked pork with a table spoon sized portion of luke warm leaks. Kimchi salad was limp and soggy. Crème brulet not set with a rubbery sugar top. £57 with three drinks. Very expensive for cooking that wasn't very good at all. Service poor, heard waitress say "took the orders" get them in and get them out". That turned heads for all the wrong reasons.

We spent Christmas Eve and Day here and it was excellent. For various reasons we were not at all Christmassy when we arrived, however we were made to feel very welcome and had a lovely time. We ate on Christmas Eve and day and had breakfast too, all our meals were delicious, the Christmas dinner was fantastic and the Christmas pudding was the best we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and everyone was so friendly, our room was one of the loft ones, warm and cosy and with a very comfortable bed. We really appreciate the fact that people gave up their Christmas to make ours, we have stayed before and will definitely be back

Fantastic Hotel in Cornwall
Great hotel, friendly staff, really nice bar area & great food. Would highly recommend if staying in Cornwall, with good rail links.
