The Beach Club

The breakfast buffet spread was good..however The room window was very small and high..you can’t view outside which makes the room look even smaller.. good for overnight stay

be wary if you are disabled or have difficulties walking. We arranged a late book in as we had theatre tickets and on our arrival we were told we had been upgraded to the best room in the hotel. It was a quirky but clean hotel and on arrival we were looking forward to our stay, until the night porter pointed up to a steep flight of stairs. I asked if there was another room we could have and I was told no and that there was no lift, and yet the hotel boasts that it has complied with all access laws. It may well do but it needs to go further, even though on booking we informed them I would need disabled parking they took no thought toward my disability. I struggled up that first flight of stars and was assured the room was not that much further, it was up a further six flights of stairs, I was in massive pain and my partner was in tears because of the way I was being treated and the only excuse the nigh porter gave that it was the nicest room in the hotel. On reaching the room I took more pain killers and tried to watch TV, but it would only show two or three terrestrial channels. They did refund or money in the end but please be wary when booking here.

Our stay at the Beach Club was excellent. Myself and my wife had originally booked 2 nights stay but added another 2 nights because it was such a nice place to stay and the staff were so friendly and helpful. 5 stars all round!! Especially the duty manager Tiffany and staff member Pheobe who helped show me around the buffet breakfast process. Breakfast was excellent and the 2 rooms we were in were clean and the bed and linen was so soft When we booked the extra 2 nights Tiffany upgraded us to a premium double room which was amazing. Tiffany was leaving to be promoted to another of the company's restaurants and we widh here all the best of luck in her new position. Ovrrall the Beach Club is highly recommend and we cannot wait to return there again.

Staff were really nice! The window in our room was too high, can’t really see what’s outside. The room felt very small because of how the windows were positioned.

A somewhat disappointing stay. The room was large and the bed was comfortable . But on a cold night the room was cold and the bathroom was freezing as the window didn’t fit properly. The shower over the bathtub was pretty basic. While I had called ahead to make sure we could have dinner at 8 pm as we were coming off the ferry from the Scillys we found that the chef had left at 6 pm, we were not advised and no other arrangements had been made. As compensation I was offered free parking.
