The breakfast buffet spread was good..however The room window was very small and high..you can’t view outside which makes the room look even smaller.. good for overnight stay

Good stay Good overnight stay. Check in was good and they let us check-in early. Room comfort also good. Good selection at breakfast. Hotel bar was closed at 9.30pm on a Saturday. We were too late to book for the hotel parking but parked in the car park opposite £3.70 for 24hrs

3 star hotel - Not bad The check in process was a little strange, one person on the phone quite a bit in a room off to the side, who knew you were supposed to go in there? He had two other people in there so we had to wait about 15 minutes. Then we went in and it was all of 30 seconds, here's your key, go up the stairs, see you later! No information given. One day we asked about the buses and how to take them (we are from Canada) and the girl at the desk said she had no idea, she never took the bus. End of that story too. So we didn't find them overly friendly or helpful at this hotel. The room was nice with a fantastic view. Took a while to get anything you asked for, e.g. towels. Everything is quite old but for the price you get what you pay for. Good location to town and the bus route. Food was very good at breakfast, you could have their buffet or choose from a menu. Again, no one tells you that you kind of figure it out watching others. I would return as I said the location was good, the view was amazing and food was pretty good at breakfast lunch and dinner/

Great location with friendly staff. The room was designated as a small double and it certainly was small. We had tea/ coffee in the room but no Kettle!!

What a lovely hotel - right in the heart of town with views of the water and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We arrived after a long travel day - an overnight flight from the US and 5+ hours on the train from London. When we made the reservation, they only had a room with 1 bed, and when we arrived, we asked if there might be a room available with 2 beds (2 sisters traveling together). The kind fellow at the front desk gave us a spacious room with 3 beds (Room 1, I think)! It was on the front of the building facing the water with a cozy seating area in the bay window. The décor was current, warm and welcoming. The room and bathroom were immaculate. The beds were quiet comfortable. And breakfast the next morning was hearty and delicious. A great place to stay in this charming sea town.

The Hotel is located on the seafront in Penzance. Amenities located close, Shop/Supermarket, Petrol Station, Arcade, Chip Shop and old style Lido. Receptionist was fantastic at meet and greet and she made me feel very welcome at the hotel for a first visit. I stayed in Room 4, for a single room it is very light and airy. Nice decoration (looks recently decorated) and all the necessary you would need for a stay. Tea Tray was ok with biscuits, a choice of Tea/Coffee and a hot chocolate. Tea Pot and water glass and kettle. Nice size TV with Freeview channels. Bed is standard single size. Built-in wardrobe space was good and includes a hidden hair dryer. Guest Guide for the hotel and a phone for reception. Bathroom was a good size and is shower only. Hot and Cold taps are wrong way round (not sure if that is just this hotel or if that is a southern thing???) Fresh towels very fluffy and good size. Some little extras like the shower cap just make the hotel look great and make the guest feel more welcome. A laundry service is also available. The room looks onto the back of the hotel so not a lot to see but there is an outside fire escape and can sometimes get noisy from outside. The noise on the corridor is a little loud sometimes but that can be said for a lot of places. Breakfast was fantastic, continental was a great choice of cereals, croissants, fruit and yoghurt. Tea and Coffee on arrival to the dining room, a choice of jam and preservatives at the table. Toast order is taken white/brown/gluten free or a mixture. Full fried breakfast order is taken from a massive choice on the menu. First day I had a fried breakfast and second day I had Eggs benedict. Both breakfasts cooked to perfection and I ate every bit of them. Service from staff was fantastic and all needs catered for. I would definitely recommend the stay. I will be returning again to the Beachfield Hotel.
