We loved our stay at Peggyslea Farm. Annette made us feel very welcome and relaxed. The B&B is in beautiful surroundings, the rooms were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing and Annette very friendly and helpful. We took our 5 month puppy who still needs to go out in the middle of night but it was no problem at all. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend. We also recommend dining at the Gordon Arms. The locals were friendly and the food was really good and reasonably priced.

It was the most magical place to stay for the weekend. The snow didn’t bother us in fact it just made it look more beautiful. We felt so relaxed. The bedrooms were lovely and big and homely. Annette and her daughter were amazing. The food was fantastic. The animals were super cute we loved having cuddles with them all. Can’t wait to return next year now.

The room was Massive! And it had very good access to Edinburgh. With a Tesco's extra only 10 mins drive. Check in was really smooth and quick. We were able to keep the milk for our little one in the fridge. There is a kitchen that you can use. And a nice breakfast room overlooking the fields and mountains. . Plenty of activities at the farm, weather permitting.Would highly recommend

We had a great stay at Peggyslea Farm. It was the perfect location for us when visiting our son in Edinburgh, just over 30 minutes drive away. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay, the view from the windows across the valley is stunning. We will definitely be back!

This is our second stay at Peggyslea Farm and hopefully it won't be our last. From location to room standard to hospitality, everything is outstanding. The Clydesdale horses are spectacular, and a tour of the stables and adjoining paddocks to see the other animals is a must. We went on a carriage drive around the property, which is excellent value for money considering the work that must go into the preparation. It is a short drive to Penicuik which has a wide variety of eateries, and we particularly enjoyed the Royal Hotel and Gurkhas. This is definitely somewhere you should stay when visiting Edinburgh.

Voor een trip naar Edinburg is dit een top locatie. Midden in de natuur op een boerderij waar je een wandeling kunt maken met een prachtige omgeving. De kamers zijn groot, bedden zij heerlijk, badkamer super. Het ontbijt is ook top en veel. Ten slotte zijn de mensen die er werken heel sympathiek en oprecht. Kom hier graag nog eens weer. Bedankt

Great accommodation. Very clean, quiet, great breakfast, spacious room, complimentary tea/coffee in the room. Beds are really comfy. Bathroom has heated floor and shower+bath. It's a farm so you can wonder around and see the horses, goats and alpacas.
