+: Very pretty hotel, very large room with small outdoor table in a calm and relaxing setting. Large and comfortable bed, very clean. Brand new excellent spa. Beauty/hygiene accessories provided.
-: At reception, familiar language from the receptionist "wait, I'm calling Lolo!". Likewise, the receptionist's promise to remove the excess bed from our room was not kept. Forgot dressing gowns for the spa, no apologies from reception. Does not warn that the hammam is broken. No instructions on arrival on how to get around this large hotel or even empty the car, always having to go to reception to get basic information.

Why do you advertise the hotel as a 5 star hotel ?
Definitely not 5 star , nobody at the door to welcome you, there is however a receptionist who was lovely , but what can she do when working for a hotel which needs a lot of TLC and staff. It looked like the gardener had been on a long holiday , carpets were extremely dirty throughout the hotel, and although we were upgraded to a suite after complaining about our room being in an annexe and not in the main house, the state of the suite was more 3 stars than 5 stars.

Nous avons le 27.12.2024 effectué une réservation pour le 07 août jusqu’au 11 août 2025. Hier (18.02.2025), nous avons reçu un message de l’hôtel nous annonçant que l’hôtel était privatisé jusqu’au 10 août et que notre réservation était annulée……aucune éducation, aucun respect et bien sûr aucune réponse à mon message de mécontentement. Ce n’est pas un service 5 étoiles….A éviter absolument…

Hôtel qui annonce 5 étoiles mais qui n est pas à la hauteur de celles ci - très loin du prestige des 5* Il faudrait une grosse rénovation : peinture qui s écaille partout , spa ne fonctionne pas (soit disant tombé en panne la veille comme par hasard) , livres disponible qui sont complètement abîmés car ils ont pris l eau, manque de personnel (1 personne pour faire reception-bar-room service- etc) - petit déjeuner comparable à celui d un ibis … , coffre fort dans la chambre avec un écriteau « ne pas utiliser le coffre fort », etc etc etc La direction devrait aller dans un 5* pour se rendre compte de la qualité à avoir

First thing to say is simple. The staff are an Asset or Liability to ANY business activities. The people manning this lovely ,quirky Hotel fall into the first I am very happy to report. The Hotel was warm ,cosy and welcoming though sparsely occupied. This hotel enjoys what I think few other establishments do- uninterrupted views of 'them thar hills';beautiful. It has a Michelin Restaurant but my pockets were not deep enough to try it out!! The Bar is big and wide but, alas not fleshed out with guests which is a shame for it deserves more people to see how this once private House/ residence is still a nice place to rest after those Mountain visits! I will ,like the General, RETURN! Thank you dear Olga and all staff ( too numerous to name) for a very pleasant and happy weekend! You were all so kind. Patrick Mosley .

Restaurant de qualité, cuisine saignéee et savoureuses. Service mitigé et certainement pas à la hauteur d'une étoile. Hôtellerie vétuste et encore une fois à mille lieux du nombre d'étoiles annoncé. Toutefois nous avons apprécié le calme, la vue et le cachet très suranné, mais surtout la gentillesse des équipes.
