The restaurant quality has gone down significantly since last visit and review. They let the best chef go and now the food is sadly not even a fair meal. We had 4 people out of our party of 11 who only ate a couple bites and left the meal, stating it was not edible. The old Chef, Pito is now at a restaurant in Parrita, Coco Loco and is the place to dine!

For the out of the beat location, it is a little gem! Very welcoming, quiet, clean and friendly personnel. The Pacific is your backyard and it does not disappoint. If you are just looking for chill time, this is the spot. A real Pura Vida experience.

Be aware Non realiable manager He requested our services for horseback tours We gave the service but the hotel management didnt paid. This is the last resource for us to try to get decently This is how i make a living Renting horses. This hotel abused of Me trusting them

Our stay was so good, we returned for the last 3 days of our vacation. Chad was very helpful, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The food was great, the staff was awesome and friendly. Beach is just across the road, and oh, what a beach it is, with lounge chairs. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. Boogie boards used, borrowed from resort. The rooms were big, clean, had safes, and AC. My only concern was that the locks on the sliding doors don't lock, and you had to use a plastic pipe to block the slider. We will stay here again.

Faded glory comes to mind. Security when we arrived was a bit over the top which then made us think we should be super vigilant. Large room with a nice patio facing the sea. Patio furniture was dirty and bits missing. Bug screen was torn and useless. The lock on the patio door didn’t work so had to use a large pole against the window to secure the room. The bathroom smelt of bad drains and the taps were covered in limescale. Loved the highly decorated sinks and big shower with plenty of hot water. The beautiful beach is a short walk across the road and there are some beach chairs. We were able to borrow boogie boards from the hotel. The hotel pool is very warm, with not much shade but the guy at the pool bar makes fantastic margaritas. Restaurant was just okay. Staff were all lovely.

Best customer service, beautiful sunsets. Great food Las Brisas restaurant, pet friendly. Swimming 🏊♂️ pool open 24 hours. Beach across the hotel. Cocomar definitely the best place to stay when you visit Costa Rica 🇨🇷 😎🏖️☀️🏊♂️🌴🫶⛱️🌴☀️❤️🍾🌴 Pura vida
