Tashi Namgay Resort

excellent experience, room, cleanliness, food, everything was good except one thing which need to be improved. on last day of our stay there was news of two landslide therefore we had to start earlier in the morning and hotel gave us packages of breakfast which was truly bad quality. watermelon wasn't good, cupcake was toooooooo small, sandwiches really tasteless. In early morning there was no coffee available. that really needs improvement a lot.

Great place to stay while being in middle of the town of Paro. Good location, very nice ambiance,large well appointed room with decent-size bathroom. Food was good. Staff was courteous and helpful. Internet speed was the best we got in our tour of Bhutan.

We got a big room but it is full of bugs. The bed was comfortable though. One thing good about this hotel is it has a pool, but it was very crowded with people when we used it over the weekend. There’s a gym but we didn’t manage to use it. Breakfast service was lacklustre, staff looks tired and service was not as good as other hotels in Bhutan, which was surprising to us. The staff whom we interacted with overall seem like they aren’t very happy to work here.

A fabulous resort in Paro facing the Airport. The rooms are spread out all over the property and the main building has the reception, dining room and a coffee shop. The property is built on a hilly land so guesta have to walk up and down to reach their rooms. Some rooms are very far - guests with walking issues or senior citizens should request for rooms near the reception building. The rooms are big and has adequate supplies for the stay. However, due to the cold weather most of the year round, there is only heating available but no air conditioning. Our room was near the reception and had the mountain rivulet flowing just in front of our room. The gurgling sound of the water was so.soothing. There is buffet breakfast and dinner available but closing times are early and very strict. Food was tasty and varied. Service was good and everyone was very polite and smiling.

An amazing property spread over 5 acres, this resort is probably one of the best in Bhutan. Lots of lovely sit-outs with the view of the river and the airport beyond ! It felt amazing to see airplanes land and take-off right in front of you !!. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff is very polite and helpful. All in all a great experience ! Highly recommended.
