Hotels with Parking in Tanjung Bungah

I came here alone for staycation. Just need a rest from hectic life. I book for 1 night and plan to move to another hotel for the next day. However coz the bed is super comfy and room also with modern looks, I decided to extend for another night. Really enjoyed my stay. The only things I dislike coz the tv channel does not have much option. For staycation I love if the tv has many channel coz I just wanna stay in bed and enjoy watching movies. Maybe the hotel also can consider to add device that allow screen mirroring so I can play my fav movie on the tv

The initial room that I checked into, there was no hot water, room is dusty, there are insects in the bathroom, there is no divider or step for the shower area so the whole bathroom will be flooded when you take shower and traffic noise is very clear.  The new room has a great view and further away from the main road. There is a huge & dirty AC above the bed, so you’ll freeze while inhaling all the dust when you sleep. There’s also constant water splashing noise above the ceiling.  The staff is nice as they do their best to help, but hardware and maintenance are a big problem. Location and view are great!

Very friendly front desk.. Room is clean. There's a crowded hawker just right in front the hotel.. BBQ seafood, pizza, Ba kut teh, satay, curry fish head, etc..

I had a fantastic stay at Citadines Tanjung Tokong, Penang! The location is excellent, offering convenience and comfort with well-maintained rooms and great amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience throughout my stay. A special highlight was the bakery downstairs, which serves fresh and delicious pastries every day. The aroma of freshly baked goods in the morning was irresistible, and their selection of breads, cakes, and coffee was top-notch. It truly added an extra touch of warmth and indulgence to my stay! Appreciate: 1) Customer support WhatsApp replies very quickly and politely :). 2) Many food establishments nearby. Search “claypot restaurant” we ate there 4 days in a row even after shifting away from this hotel. 3) Swimming pool was nice and clean. 4) Antique decorations in the hotel looks amazing. 5) had 2 private carpark lots in the compound, there are parking spots outside of the compound as well, just unsure if it is legal. We were lucky to have at least 1 lot in the hotel during our stay. Can be improved: 1) Hotel has no reception, make sure customers gets their check in details before they arrive the hotel or at least just before 3pm. 2) Wifi speed can be faster. It failed a few times during my 3d2n stay there. The Mrs and I couldn’t even load google maps. Quite frustrating. Had to use my data. 3) Sound proofing maybe? We had a room facing the Main Street and in our room there’s a door that used to be able to open and go to the balcony but it’s blocked by a large wardrobe. This allowed the sound to travel through the door gaps. 4) toilet can be cleaner, check the floor traps and the make sure it’s clean, cleaner left a ball of hair stuck at the floor traps. 5) toilet floor can have anti slip strips. Really slippery. Had to ban my toddler from going into the toilet. 6) too many mosquitoes at the hotel. Fortunately we didn’t have it in our room.

Having a birthday surprise for my wife and had a great time with the lovely and affectionate service of the staff at the hotel. The food is amazing and authentic and the rooms are modern after reopen from the old hotel with new International Management. Overall a delightful stay.
