GGuest UserFormer Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it. The lovely family run cafe in town: 886-5 Mokdong-ri, Buk-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

GGuest UserIt is recommended. Everything is perfect except that the location is a bit inconvenient to use public transportation! First of all, the boss's heart doesn't make sense. I realized the moment I entered the stall. Marshmallow skewers, Bhutan gas, salt sprinkled on barbecue meat, seasonings such as herb salt, etc. were all 'free'. Considering that the products sold for a fee are sold in such places, it was not expensive at all. And the room was also very clean. Thanks to that, I was able to sleep comfortably and comfortably! There was an electric panel on the bed, so it was hot even in winter. I see a lot of separates at night, so it's perfect for sensibility with friends. . Finally, there are small basketball and football fields and balls, badminton rackets and shuttle cocks, and rooms in the wild, so there was plenty of play. I'm thinking of coming back!!

KKen from Canada.Let me start by saying I chose this hotel as it was close to the Canadian memorial and hill 677 where Canada put a fierce resistance during the Korean war. My father fought here and I wanted to see it. The hotel room was small, very clean, and comfortable. The most amazing thing was the couple that owed it. They were so helpful and offered to drive me to the memorial, get me taxis, provided me coffee and cookies. Their hospitality was far above the 5 star rating I can give. P.s. I'm in my 60's and made it up the hill, walking to the fighting positions. I has a wonderful time here. Great people, very nice stay. Thank you once again. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserWe are a family from Germany and stayed for two nights. We were extremely happy with the accommodation – the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We actually arrived one day earlier than booked, and he took great care of us, even inviting us for dinner! The cozy place was very well equipped – a large TV, a fully stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. We truly appreciated the owner’s wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much again!

SSherineit’s walking distance to Nami ferry terminal. My family and I stayed here. And it’s very satisfying. The guest house still knew just 2 years. Smells new and everything new. Provide full amenities and kitchen stuffs. The family owner very helpful. They even help us to send 2 trips to MRT station. Thank you so much. Definitely worth it.

GGuest UserIt’s in a good location where you can get everything if you drive 5 mins. Swimming pool and Spa is just perfect to play and relax. However the drain in the bathroom stinks so once you open the bathroom door it will spread all over the house so quickly. And there are quite a lot of ***** on the floor and blankets hopefully it gets better. So if those two get fixed, I’d definitely want to visit again. The owner is super kind :)

GGuest UserSince it was a winter trip, I requested heating in advance, but it wasn't heated in advance, so it was a bit cold. And since there's no floor heating, it doesn't seem like a good idea to use it in the winter. Other than that, the facilities were clean and the view was good, so it would have been better if I went in the summer.

LLoveSarangbyDolores (YouTube)Wow...the pension was sooo very lovely, cozy, BIG, clean, inexpensive and was stocked with EVERYTHING! (It looked exactly like the pictures on their site.) The view was spectacular, as well! It was a short, 5-minute walk from The Garden of Morning Calm and was around the corner from a 7-Eleven, so it was sooo very convenient! The host seemed very sweet, as well, although my Korean friend is the one who spoke with him. I will definitely stay there, once again, in the near future! DDorotheaAn absolute hidden gem!! Close to nami island and the Garden of morning calm and many other tourist attractions. Amazing view, super cool cafe! We stumbled across it on accident and so glad we stayed here for 2 nights as a family. The rooms are so unique. Loved it and would always come back. Owner does not speak English but was so sweet.

AAnonymous UserThe Owner was so nice and ^^ they can speak in English very well and they’re very accommodating . The place was so nice but the thing is we ddnt enjoy much staying there because we almost 6 pm and we need to check out 11 am in the morning . The weather is so good little bit cold but it will be more fun in the summer ^^ We didn’t have chance to play and roam outside bcoz we woke up late and we need to pack up early so we can go other places . And its closer to Petite francw . The toilet is okey its clean ^^ the room is so nice too and its affordable
