This place is nothing but FANTASTIC!!!! ONE OF THE BEST PLACES WE HAVE EVER STAYED. The owner was very friendly and helpful; even gave us a lift to the historical town which was a 10 mins drive. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious! The building was originally built in the 1500s yet felt modern and cozy!!! I couldn't recommend it more

I visited with my family as part of a trip to Andong, as I had plans nearby. Overall, I got the impression that this place has quite distinct pros and cons. **Pros** 1. The location is truly outstanding. Most major tourist attractions, such as Galbi Alley, Mammoth Bakery, Jjimdak Alley, and Talchum Park, are within a 10-minute walk. It is convenient to return after a casual drink in the evening, and the route is easy as there are famous salted mackerel restaurants nearby. It is also great for taking a walk or a light run in the morning while admiring the cherry blossoms near Talchum Park. 2. Breakfast is provided free of charge (08:00–10:00). It includes bread, yogurt, cereal, and coffee, which is sufficient for a simple meal. However, it felt like water and coffee were provided on a limited basis according to the number of guests, so it was somewhat disappointing for a leisurely stay. 3. The amenities are relatively well-equipped. Most basic items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, cleansing foam, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion, are provided, so you do not need to pack a lot of luggage. Disadvantages My initial impression was positive, as the room looked neat on the outside and offered many amenities. However, upon actually using it, I felt that the quality of each element was slightly lacking. 1. Styler It was provided, so I looked forward to using it, but it did not work and an error occurred. Consequently, I was unable to use it. 2. Electric Blanket Despite booking a twin room, the electric blanket was installed on only one of the beds. I was left with a sense of disappointment, wondering if it would not have been more natural for two people to be assigned the same conditions for each bed, given the room configuration. 3. Room Cleaning Before Checkout This was the most disconcerting part. The room was cleaned while I briefly stepped away for breakfast before checkout time (11:00). I was quite surprised to find signs that someone had been there when I returned, and I also felt uneasy because my personal belongings had been left untouched. Furthermore, it was unclear whether the bedding had been replaced in such a short time or if it was merely a simple cleaning, raising questions regarding hygiene. Above all, the fact that the cleaning was carried out while I still had time remaining felt somewhat hasty, and as a guest, it was an uncomfortable experience. While the good location and basic conveniences are certainly advantages, the attention to detail in the actual usage process seems to need a bit more improvement.

Located about a 3-minute walk from the old Andong Station (abandoned station), it's convenient for walking to the market and Jjimtak Golmok (a local restaurant). As it's an older hotel, the facilities are a bit dated, but the rooms and bathrooms are clean, and they are cleaned daily, with amenities and water replenished regularly. I took a taxi to Wolyeong Bridge, but walked back and was able to return to the hotel in about 30 minutes. The front desk staff are kind. When I called a taxi, they were considerate until I got in. The people of Andong were all kind and friendly, so perhaps it's a characteristic of the region.

Very affordable, clean and surprisingly nice hotel.. Nice bathroom amenities, such as flat iron, wich made me very happy. Free coffe, water and simpel breakfast like cornflakes and milkbread in a smal sitting area. Perfect location, and close to restaurants, shopping and attractions like the famous Woryeonggio Wooden Bridge. Recommended!👍😀

A haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it deserved my only comment in 3 weeks of travel, it's really a place where you feel good as soon as you walk through the door! Everything is designed for the well-being of the traveler in search of serenity, a magnificent place to live conducive to relaxation where encounters in calm and respect with the 8 cats who wander freely, the soft background music, the kindness and benevolence of the staff, the dietetic and delicious breakfast, the cleanliness and equipment of the rooms (large towels!, air purifier, well thought-out ergonomics, in short to summarize I think that the owner must have traveled a lot to offer such a very different service and more adapted to a Parisian bobo clientele that I am not. Thank you again for this soothing interlude. 🥰

It was better than I expected for the price - the mattress was great, the sheets and towels impeccably clean, you get 2 drinks and 2 coffee mixes in the fridge, a pouch with body products, there is a water heater, hair products… I had everything I needed for one night. It would be ok for me for a few more as I didn’t need much space or a closet - if you do, know that there is no closet and no space in the bathroom to keep your things there. I think for 2 people it would be less comfortable, bit depends on the person. It was quiet at night, I slepy great. There was someone there to give me the room card at 8pm when I arrived, in the am, I just left yhe card. Also an espresso machine downstairs. And it’s right downtown. All and all, I liked it.

Both Andong Jjimdak Alley and Wolyeong Bridge are within 20 minutes by car. I spent the night enjoying the quiet scenery. The floor was hot, so the cold fatigue was all relieved. Sangdeokjae was good for 5 adults. It was comfortable because it had a bathroom and toilet. The hot water comes out well and the bathroom is clean. It was nice to take a slow walk around the Chiam Old House. The information on the restaurant attached to the gate was also useful~

Far from the city and there is no shop nearby. Great when you want to spend quietly. I felt like I was alone at night because there was too little sound. When I told him that I was rehabilitating, he politely told me to go back and forth to the tourist spot. It was very helpful because my husband speaks English and Japanese. The building was very old and the steps were large and difficult, but I felt that it was my wife's hobby that there were many beautiful and cute accessories in the room.

The hotel rooms were very clean and well-equipped, with a touch of antique charm. Special praise goes to the front desk staff; although there was only one person there, and he wasn't even sitting at the front desk, he appeared as soon as we pressed the bell and resolved our issues. It was our first time in Andong, and we were short on time and unfamiliar with the attractions. He provided us with a pre-prepared guide to the tourist sites and their parking times, explaining everything clearly. This allowed us to fulfill our wish to visit Hahoe Village within a very limited timeframe.

Had a good stay here. I loved the central location, because all the local attractions and local buses are within walking distance. Besides, Iit is only about 20 minutes by bus from the Andong KTX/Expressbus station. The bedroom was clean. I had to get used to having no sheet, but to have sleep under the plaid directly. In the bathroom there was a little problem, but they took care of it right away when I asked them too.
