特筆すべきはやっぱりディナーの米沢牛懐石コース。 名前だけ聞くと食べきれない気がしますが、一品ずつの量や野菜とのバランスが良く、ちょうど苦しくなる手前で終えられる構成でした。 メインはステーキ、すき焼き、しゃぶしゃぶから選べ、今回はステーキを選びました。鉄板焼きでの提供、大満足でした。

以前から気になっていた温泉旅館。YouTubeなどで事前学習してとても楽しみにしていました。 福島駅から在来線の奥羽本線にて峠駅に下車、事前に電話しておくと宿の方が駅までお迎えに来て頂けます。さて、無事に定刻に駅に到着し、宿の方にも会えて、いざ旅館へ。その道がとてもユニークな体験で、車一台しか通れない幅の道を宿の方が非常に安全に運転しもらえます。ただし、車酔いしやすい方は要注意です。 宿に着くとすぐにチェックイン。お部屋も一人には申し分ないのですが、とにかく虫が多いです。窓は開けないでください。網戸があるので、それは絶対に開けない方がいいです。部屋にはクーラーがないのですが、扇風機で十分です。備え付けの歯ブラシセットを使おうと思ったのですが、歯磨き粉が開けられず、持参してきてよかったです。夏は浴衣がいいのですが、汗をかきやすいので肌着と短パンを持参して屋内の温泉は利用されてみてもいいと思います。シャンプーリンスとボディソープは屋内の温泉は備え付けです。露天にはなく、浸かることしかできませんが、岩風呂はとても熱く、足しか入れることができませんでした。夜に露天の檜風呂を予約したのですが、入力中に小動物も入ってきて目が合って、共にびっくりして大声で叫びましたが、流石に湯船には入ってきませんでした。潔癖の方にはあまりお勧めできませんが、とにかく屋内の内風呂は本当に何度入っても心地よく、肌もすべすべになります。夕食、朝食もボリューム満点でご飯もお代わりできます。飲み物、軽食も別途購入可能です。都会の喧騒から逃れ、自然と一緒になりたい方には最高の旅館です。お世話になりました。

About 12 minutes walk from Mize Station. The hotel seems to be located on the quiet side of town. Shops and restaurants are on the other side of the station. Mize is called city but very quiet, not many cars on the road. There are many beef shops in front of the station; There is no place to eat in the station building, there is only one convenience store and two local specialty stores.
