GGuest UserClean, looks antique yet the facilities are very modern. Warm enough for about 0 degree weather. Nice and comfort stay for all ages from child to elderly. Cooking utensils are well equipped that would be very sufficient for self cooking breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended.

Amazing
MmotoppThis is my second time staying at Comfort Hotel Wakayama. It's conveniently located just a few minutes' walk to the right after exiting JR Wakayama Station. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room, though small, was well-appointed. The service was excellent, as always, and breakfast was delicious. We had a small unexpected incident during our trip, which is why I didn't take many photos, but the staff patiently and diligently helped us resolve it. We are very grateful for their assistance.

Aavalon369The location is excellent, making it really easy to get around. The hotel isn't huge, which is fair enough as the city center isn't particularly big anyway. But a special mention goes to the bed and pillows – they were incredibly comfortable, I was super happy with them! Definitely take some time to visit the seaside; the views there are simply unbeatable.

GGexingzailvtuThe hotel's location is about a block from the station, which isn't far. The cleanliness and facilities in the room were well-maintained. Service was mostly self-service, which was quite convenient. Breakfast was pretty standard; there's a deli on the basement level of the department store next to the station where you can buy late-night snacks and breakfast for the next day. But for this price, it's still a good deal.

Location: It's about a 10-minute walk from Wakayama JR Station. There are restaurants on the south street nearby and a FamilyMart, but generally, the area feels a bit desolate. However, that's perfectly fine.
Service: Excellent! You can store your luggage. When checking in, you choose your breakfast and delivery times. We tried Japanese, Western, curry, and udon, and both of us thought they were all very good.
Room Amenities: This is absolutely incredible!
They even have a curling iron in the room! Plus, many other items like hair clips and hair ties – basically, everything you could think of is provided.
Additionally, on the first floor, they have various brands of shampoo and shower gel available if you're interested (there are also some in the room). Every day you can pick up some snacks and drinks on the first floor (limited per person). Although I never used this service because I was always full after eating out, I really appreciate it!
Cleanliness: Very clean!
Room Size: Satisfied! It's a very spacious room for Japan, with a separate wet and dry area.

GGupeiyiVery good, simple and clean. Just don't choose this if you don't smoke, as it might smell. You can open the window. Very convenient for going out. The surrounding snacks are all pretty good; the skewers, kani-ya, and Shizutetsu supermarket are all very good and the food is fresh. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and the beer there is pretty good.

DDaduhouThe room was clean and the facilities were complete. The front desk gentleman was warm and polite to take me to the room. The location was not far from Wakayama Jr. The downside was that there was no elevator and it was not suitable for girls with large luggage.

GGuest User#Praise#For mosquito control measures, hotel smell, bedding comfort, location, toiletries, room lighting satisfaction; I like this hotel so much! It is also an ideal hotel! The so-called ideal is that every aspect is very practical! Although there is no breakfast, there is a refrigerator microwave in the room. It is very convenient to buy and eat at the nearby convenience store supermarket. The room is large and the bathroom is large, and the toiletries are complete to even the curling stick! The kettle said that the insulation can be kept warm for one night, not to mention that it is so cheap not far from the station! I will only live here on the West Line in the future. ps: This ideal hotel comes from a 40-generation hotel that has lived in various large and small Japanese hotels in a variety of sizes and sizes. Lightning avoidance and mentioning that this store has no elevator, large boxes of passengers should be cautious.

RRITA丸I booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and the distance from both Wakayama City Station and Wakayama Station was the same. It was farther than I expected when I walked, so I recommend taking the bus from the station. I booked a single room, but it was very spacious with two beds. Amenities were minimal, but I liked that there was a microwave in the room. I chose the breakfast option, and they provided something like a bento box.

GGuest UserThe room is small and the location is remote, but the hotel scenery is really great! The hotel restaurant needs to be booked in advance, and there are no convenience stores nearby, and the restaurant is also far away. Remember to book a restaurant when you check in, otherwise you will have to go hungry. The hotel does not have Chinese service, and English communication is a bit difficult. The hotel's public bathing is free, and there are open-air bath seats. It was windy and rainy on the day I went there, and it was super cold. It was very comfortable to bathe. The location of the men's and women's bathrooms will be swapped, so remember to look at the sign at the door and don't go the wrong way.
