JJatin VasishthaI recently stayed at Omah Laut Bondo Jepara with my friends, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience.
The location is excellent—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway away from the city noise. It truly adds to the charm of the stay. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our trip even more comfortable.
The cottage itself was clean and well-maintained, though there is a bit of room for improvement in certain areas. Similarly, the facilities were good and met most of our needs, but a few enhancements could make the experience even better.
Overall, it was a memorable stay, especially for a friends’ trip. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and pleasant seaside retreat.

PPeter donaldThis hotel has it's own little beach and a jetty over the clear waters. The island is very hilly and with only one road surrounding the National Park in the centre, the hotel is on the edge of town. Only negatives are that due to the rustic construction, sound carries from the living areas downstairs and from other rooms very easily so suggest earplugs if a light sleeper and a sleep mask as the curtains and front door allows light to flood in. Fani on reception is such a star... even helping us when my hired scooter got a flat tyre. Trips to other islands within Karimunjawa national Park are easily available and the snorkeling is wonderful. Great place for a true off the beaten path paradise escape. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to being built into the hillside though. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended

GGuest UserSaya pesan 2 kamar tipe superior twin, dengan anggota keluarga berenam masing2 kamar 2 orang dewasa dan 1 anak. Kebersihan kamar dan fasilitas kamar sangat baik, handuk bersih.Tersedia teko pemanas dengan kopi, teh, gula creamer dan 2 botol air mineral 600 ml. Sarapan yang tersedia cukup variatif dgn rasa enak. Parkir mobil luas dan tersedia kolam renang mini di bagian belakang hotel. Pelayanan hotel sangat baik, yg memberikan kami sekeluarga toleransi waktu check out di jam 13.00 WIB karena kami terjebak hujan di pulau Panjang Jepara, perahu tidak berani pulang kembali ke Jepara krn cuaca buruk. Terima atas pelayanan ramahnya👍👍👍

Sampai resort belum jam 14.00, tp sudah dibolehin masuk kamar. Check in mudah. Kamar bersih, lingkungan bersih. Deluxe room pool view bener2 di depannya kolam renang. Request lantai bawah langsung banget bisa akses pantai sepuasnya. Amenities lengkap, ada minibar tp berbayar.
Bath room bersih, AC dingin, handuk wangi, sprei bersih. Staff helpfull banget.
Cuman sedikit minus di breakfast yg harus ala carte karena jumlah kamar terisi tidak memenuhi kuota. Dikasih pilihan indonesian/western. Tp overall enak dan lengkap. Selain maincourse, ada juicenya, fruit slice juga. Pengen suatu saat ke sana lagi . Thanks Tabebuya

There are not many breakfast options, but it also covers local characteristics. It is already very good given the limited local conditions.

MMelissa1217It's very clean every time I go there. The service is also very good and there is no barrier to communication in English. I go there every few weeks to relax. However, the hot and cold water is very unstable and I often have to use cold water to wash.

GGuest UserBeautiful childfriendly hotel!
Initially it seemed that earlier negative reviews were confirmed especially in the area of being understaffed: our room wasn't ready in time probably mainly because of not enough staff. Later though we had very good experience with how the room (we stayed in a family cottage) was cleaned daily.
1. The location is really excellent: close to the sea, with a big swimming pool, close to the harbour and walking distance to the village centre with shops & restaurants.
2. So the cleanliness only get 3 of 5 because of what mentioned before.
3. Service gets 5 as we found that the staff was very helpful. At breakfast we could order omelet and scrambled eggs (not part of the buffet) and we could order some extra other specifics that was more fit to our Western food wishes (pancakes without green food colouring!! ;). Friends that came over were initially asked to leave the pool but when we explained that we assumed they could stay for a 50K fee pp (like we've seen other hotels deal with this), they allowed us.
A broken lamp was fixed immediately upon arrival. When we asked for extra toilet paper or shampoo they would bring it immediately. When we asked where we could buy bread for lunch for our kids one of the staff got 2 loaves of bread for us and they didn't charge us extra for that!
Breakfast was served earlier upon request (earlier than 6.30) since the ferry left early.
4. Facilities 4 out of 5: fairly new, straight forward, practical. Only some broken things like tiles here and there that were broken and at reception, the ceiling had a hugh hole.
So in general, we found this a very very good hotel where the staff made our stay very pleasant, we would like to come back one day!
