Booked a sea view room, highly recommend! The restaurant also has sea views, and the breakfast offers a great variety and is delicious. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and they were both really good. The hotel is a five-minute walk to the beach, and you can even hike to Bedruthan Steps, which is very convenient. However, the towel rail in the bathroom wouldn't turn off, making it quite stuffy, so we had to keep the window open during the day.

Nice venue with beautify seaside view. Clean and quite place with nice breakfast.

It was a lovely hotel to stay at ver. Very welcoming lovely couple who run Porth Lodge hotel provided a lovely breakfast and service. All staff helpful and provided a very high level of customer service.

Clean, comfortable room with good heating - which was appreciated during a cold snap that coincided with our visit. The wi-fi was reliable, and there was a TV, tea and coffee making equipment and a modern bathroom. Contrary to what some other reviews say, the beds are comfortable with good pillows. There is no fridge or in-room safe, but we did not require those things. The staff were friendly and bar and restaurant facilities were available if required. The ”full Cornish” breakfast was good although not over large. The location is excellent for a range of local services and beaches. Constructive suggestion: add a soap tray in the shower. even if this is just one that clips on to the shower head riser bar.

Stayed here with my young son for my birthday Room was very clean I'm a cleaner of 5* properties and i was very satisfied We visited the indoor swimming pool and were pleasantly surprised how lovely it was The receptionist was lovely and helpful i can't remember her name but thankyou Room had a lovely view of the sea and wasn't too far to walk from the town Evening entertainment sounded great but my son was too tired for us to stay and listen but bar area was very cosy and clean Beds were comfy and Room temperature was good Breakfast was amazing definitely recommend having that

It was excellent. A lot of unreasonable bad reviews about this place but the cleaniness was fine, facilities more than adequate, and the staff was friendly. The on-site restaurant was excellent as well, again great staff, and the food produced looked like the chef took it seriously too. i.e. homemade tartar sauce, homemade sweet chilli sauce, fresh battered fish. Good beer selection on draught too.

Our room is not in the main building. We have to walk upstair to a first floor high extension building. My booking hasn't mentioned this. It just like a B&B room, but this is a 3 stars hotel. If I know before hand, I will not book this hotel.
