The desert is lonely, but at this luxury hotel on the edge of the Kumtag Desert in Shanshan, that solitude becomes a poetic experience. Golden sand dunes undulate silently, like the breath of the earth. Here, time slows to a crawl, and the world becomes nothing but the desert, the starry sky, and the throbbing of the soul.
The tents, nestled in the desert, look like an ancient caravan camp from afar, but upon closer inspection, the interior reveals a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Soft carpets and understated yet sophisticated lighting create a perfect blend of desolation and comfort. In the evening, we soaked in the hot water in the open-air bath, watching the sunset paint the dunes a rouge hue. In that moment, it felt as if the entire desert whispered to us.
Dinner that evening was a feast we could never have imagined. The lamb short ribs, simmered for 36 hours, are tender yet not mushy. The tendon is crisp, and the aroma of ginger and chili dances on the tongue. The ox knee is soft and flavorful, and the rich tomato sauce is like a love poem from the Western Regions. The spiced aroma of the flatbreads and roast chicken carries the flavors of merchants and travelers from thousands of years ago. I can't help but wonder if in ancient tents, kings, princes, and generals sat together, drinking tea, eating meat, and discussing the country.
After dinner, we drank tea under the stars. The cool desert breeze blew against our faces, but we didn't feel cold. The stars in the sky, distant yet close, seemed like the most gentle gaze on travelers. That night, the desert was no longer empty, but filled with our dreams and romance.

Environment: We upgraded the family room for free to a princess room. The children at home were too happy. They were playing with sand and wanted to stay in the princess room.

GGuest UserThe hotel's newly replaced carpet gives people a brand new feeling and is very comfortable. The front desk service is as warm, thoughtful and professional as always. My friends and I like living here very much. The hotel also has a free laundry room and gym. It is worth staying for friends who are on business trips. The hotel is located in the center of the county town, which is very convenient for travel.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel reception upgraded me from a room with no window to one with a small window. The room was generally new, and the disposable toiletries were of acceptable quality. However, the room smelled of smoke, the hairdryer was a bit dirty, and the ventilation holes were blocked by lint 🙈. Also, it was incredibly noisy at night; a young man was making noise in the hallway until 2 AM, and I was woken up again in the morning by music from a nearby kindergarten. I'm fed up!
The reception staff were friendly, and the cleaning staff were polite. They offered free coffee refills, so overall it was pretty good. However, they need to increase patrols on the lower floors.

The room price is also suitable for this season, and the cost performance is very high. When I entered the room, the projection was very large and the projection effect was great. The sound quality and picture were excellent. The area of the room was also very large. It met my needs very well. This time, the projection room was also equipped with a humidifier. The weather here in Shanshan is very dry. It is really considerate. A small refrigerator was also added. Very good. The comfort of the bed is also higher. GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were new. Best of all, it's close to the Kumtag Desert scenic area, only a ten-minute drive away. The receptionist was warm and patient; the overall experience exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, fully equipped, with clean and hygienic bedding and high-quality toiletries. The staff are warm, attentive, and responsive. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, especially the local specialties. Its excellent location and convenient access make it an ideal choice for exploring Turpan. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it!
