I saw the pictures of Xishe.Shantang on Xiaohongshu before and I decided to stay here. This time when I came to Zhaoxing, I chose this place. Facts have proved that the choice was correct. The environment, location, room layout, and hardware of the B&B are all excellent. I am picky. The boss and staff are very nice. They introduce the surrounding attractions and transportation. Even if you don't go out, it is very comfortable to drink tea in the B&B.

The boss is really nice! This is the first time I met such a good B&B owner. Usually, if the boss is free, there will be a high-speed rail pick-up. This time, the boss was not free, so we took the minibus to the scenic area by ourselves, but it was also very convenient. After entering the scenic area, the boss would come out to pick us up and take us in. We stayed for two nights. On the third day, we had to check out in the morning due to the schedule. The boss was willing to get up early to send us out early in the morning. Thank you so much! ! ! Environment: The room is also very clean and comfortable. There is also a kitchen on the first floor. Hahaha, we cooked two meals here by ourselves, but because there is a river outside, there will be a louder sound of running water. Overall, it is highly recommended! ! ! Good location at the edge of town but only 10 minutes walk to the centre. Nearby to the area where there are several musical and dancing performances every day. The view of the bridge from the room was amazing! The staff were very helpful and collected us from the train station and dropped us back. We don't speak Chinese so we communicated through WeChat. They also helped us with how to get the public bus to tang'an terraces. Due to the nature of the old wooden buildings, the room can be a bit noisy but with earplugs you will be fine, it adds to the charm!

Although it was a blind selection at first, I was really attracted by the windows of this B&B! The environment is very clean and comfortable, things are very tidy, and the facilities and equipment take the needs of the guests into consideration. I fully feel that I am a ”traveler” and I enjoy it very much. Since I was traveling alone, I originally booked a king-size bed room. The boss upgraded me to a king-size bed with stairs up and down as shown in the picture, provided that there was a room available. It was so comfortable! Needless to say, the scenery on the rooftop is a sight to behold! The environment of this B&B is very good. Of course, I have to give a good evaluation of the service. The owner specially provides pick-up and drop-off (I personally think that the owner provides this service sincerely from the heart). He also kindly reminded me that since the B&B is made of wood, there might be noise due to soundproofing, but the owner said to contact us at any time. Everyone cooperated with each other and was very harmonious (of course, there was no sound at all when I went home that night, I slept well, and woke up beautifully in the morning, hahaha). After the boss helped me check in, he also patiently explained the general guide to eating, drinking and having fun here. He mainly told me where to go, fearing that I would get lost. I am a person with poor directions, and the boss's map was very nice and easy to read. A highly recommended homestay, really considerate!

The temperature suddenly dropped and there were not many tourists, so the customer service upgraded the room with a view. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer a direct view of the lake. The hotel design is very artistic and I like it very much. The service is very good and mineral water is available at your disposal. The breakfast was delicious too. The only downside is that there is no elevator. People with mobility issues need to inform the front desk and request a lower floor.

The view from the room window is amazing! It is located at the entrance of the village, very close to the viewing platform. The surrounding commercial atmosphere is not as serious as inside the village. The first floor space is very comfortable to sit and drink tea. The air conditioning and bathroom facilities are very good. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. Except for the lack of an elevator, everything else is fine.

Come here to join in the fun during the Grain Rain Festival. It was a very satisfying stay! The location of this homestay is very good. It is not far from the entrance of the village. You don’t need to walk far. If you take the shuttle bus, you can tell the driver to take you to the intersection and walk 50 meters to get there. The two front desk staff are super nice. Seeing that I am bringing my parents, they upgraded me to a larger room. There are rattan chairs on the balcony, which are very comfortable to sit on. The little brother helped me move the luggage and introduced the whole village tour guide. It rained when I left, and the little sister lent us an umbrella to take us to the bus stop. I booked a mountain view room, which is very cost-effective. The view room will be more expensive. The little brother took us in for a tour. The balcony scenery is really great and can overlook the entire village. It is even more beautiful at night. I quickly took the camera to take pictures and record what is in front of me. The room is cleaned very cleanly. The lobby on the first floor is for tea sets. It is also very pleasant to make tea, read books and watch the scenery here. Recommended!

Probably the best hotel during our trip through China. Great location in Zhaoxing overlooking the historical village in a very quiet area, perfect for who needs rest from the hustle of Chinas big cities. Beautiful, carefully designed and furnished room with wooden floors furniture, very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Lots of little extras, like a beautiful reception area with balcony, a generous fruit basket refilled every day, great and healthy breakfast, pick up service from the train station etc. Young and very friendly hosts, english is hardly spoken but with a translation app communication is easy and the staff are keen on helping you with any questions. As the house was not fully booked, they surprised us with a free upgrade to a larger room. Over all, an amazing experience!

Located inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own. There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! Highly recommended! 位于肇星村内。设施很好，每天都打扫房间。洗漱用品是基本的，我建议你自己带。每天免费提供2瓶水，但接待处还有一台饮水机。接待处的人从村门口接我，所以很容易，我不必搜索位置。他给我介绍了村子的地图，并告诉我有趣的地方在哪里。酒店距离镇医院很近，方便进行新冠肺炎检测，也是前往苗寨和火车站的公交车站。我的房间有一个面向湖面的阳台，视野很好。接待员非常乐于助人，回答了我所有的问题，还帮我买了当地的小吃带回上海。不确定他是否睡觉，因为他总是有空！早餐是中国面条，配一些紫色芋头和鸡蛋。每天都一样。我在这里过得很轻松舒适！强烈推荐！
