The plants in the homestay are carefully designed and planted by the boss himself. The breakfast provided is also quite exquisite and rich in local characteristics. A wonderful stay experience! I hope Chen Jiayuan will get better and better. I will choose to live here when I have the opportunity to go to Jinmen again! 🫰

The service of the proprietress exceeded expectations, not only providing thoughtful luggage pick-up, but also driving a few kilometers away to get the spare battery when the electric car was out of power late at night. What is even more moving is that after leaving the store, she found that the charger was left behind, and she contacted and handled it properly. Such a sincere and intimate service makes the accommodation experience particularly unforgettable. The next trip to Golden Gate will definitely choose this homestay again, and it is also recommended to travelers who pay attention to the quality of accommodation.

GGuest UserThe big bed room with a balcony, two people still recommend a twin room. The whole is very clean, that is, there is no table in the room, it would be better if you add a small table. The layout on the first floor is still very warm. The boss is attentive. The ins wind has a little southern atmosphere. There is a microwave coffee machine, water dispenser, snack rack can be used for free.
The nearby bus station is Zhenxi Station, and friends who plan to take the bus can pay attention. There are no restaurants nearby, there are 711 and family convenience stores in a few minutes.

SSightsee BugWhen we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

MMik：）The room is spacious, bright and comfortable, with good lighting. You can see the ancient Minnan house by opening the curtains. The room can fully unfold two 20-inch suitcases (more than enough space).
The public areas on the first and second floors provide warm water, iced water, refrigerators, thermoses, and brewed drinks, which is really considerate👍
The owner of the B&B is very kind and patient, and introduced us to many Kinmen attractions. If you arrive early on the day of check-in or take a late flight on the day of check-out, the owner of the B&B also said that you can stay in the B&B and store your luggage👍
The room provides a hair dryer, mouthwash cup, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, towels, bath towels, indoor slippers, the bedside table also has a sound function, there are enough sockets, and the water volume and temperature of the bathroom in the room are large. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, and each person is provided with a high and low pillow. You can choose the right pillow for yourself. I slept well these few nights~
The owner of the B&B lives upstairs. You can feel that the owner of the B&B is very caring and treats every guest attentively. If there is any help needed, you can find someone to help immediately!
The transportation location of the B&B is convenient. There is Model Street nearby, and there are many snacks, all of which can be reached on foot. This time we walked to the General Military Office to participate in the night tour of Houpu Town and walked through the civil defense tunnel on the second floor of Jincheng Station (these are all free guided activities). Although the B&B is in a busy area, it is very quiet at night and you can sleep well.
The B&B cooperates with Anxin Car Rental. You can rent a motorcycle or car, or participate in the 7 guided driving routes of Taiwan Travel.

GGuest UserThe accommodation was amazing! I loved that the ceilings were high and the space was spacious. The hot water flowed well, and the bed was just the right amount of soft, so I slept really well. The soundproofing wasn't great, though. Still, they provided both pickup and drop-off services, so I had a very comfortable trip. I highly recommend it!! They even recommended a delicious restaurant, were incredibly friendly, and the accommodation was just so, so good^^

Location & vibe:
Tumbler Travel is located in Jinning Township, not right in the busy center but close enough to key spots like Kinmen National Park and the airport — it’s only a short ride away, which was super convenient. Some reviewers said the area isn’t super lively with restaurants right outside, but it’s peaceful and a good base for exploring by bike or scooter. 
Cleanliness & facilities:
Guests generally mention that the rooms are clean and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi and basic amenities like air-conditioning, a fridge, and reliable water. It’s not a luxury place — think simple yet functional. 
One recommended feature is that it offers free airport transfer (with prior notice), which is handy if you’re flying into Kinmen.

Suitable for old tourists travelling in groups, but let down by families with out of control children, and some middle aged men who like to argue aloud in the early hours (beyond the resistance of my ear plugs anyway)! The breakfast was bland, and monotonous, the room furnishings old and not always working, and running out of provisions (i.e. hotel slippers albeit they are too small for US / European sizes).
