The routes are not complicated, and tourists can choose according to their physical strength and preferences.
- Excellent Guesthouse Experience: There are many characteristic guesthouses around Wawu Mountain that have received high praise from tourists. For example, Hebao Mountain Villa has a beautiful courtyard environment, attentive service from the owner, and offers delicious fish with mint, noodles, eggs, and milk for breakfast. The accommodation has underfloor heating, unlimited private hot spring baths with freshly filled water for each guesthouse, and complimentary welcome fruit. It is suitable for self-driving tourists and families with children.
Environment: Excellent location with direct views of Ya'er Lake. The rooms are clean and hygienic, with beds and tables mostly made of natural wood, environmentally friendly and comfortable. The owner is warm and friendly, and the restaurant serves delicious food. The overall guest experience is good.

On this trip with the kids, we discovered this hidden gem of a B&B, ”Tangli,” nestled amidst mountains and water. From the moment we entered until we left, we were enveloped in a gentle embrace – I have to rave about it!
🏡 Ambiance: A perfect blend of French and Jiangnan styles
We were immediately struck by its beauty upon entering! The Chinese-style wooden structure paired with gray bricks and white walls possesses both the charm of old architecture and the openness of modern design. The central courtyard is lush and green, with a wooden terrace, lounge chairs, and a babbling brook – every snapshot is a masterpiece of ambiance. The kids can run and play in the yard without any safety concerns, and adults can completely relax.
The interior is even more aesthetically pleasing! Vintage floral tiles, wooden stairs, large, clear windows, and a bookshelf area filled with the scent of books – every detail exudes refinement and care. The riverside outdoor seating is absolutely stunning! Enjoying the river breeze, gazing at the distant mountains and flowing water, and sipping coffee creates a truly immersive atmosphere – perfect for taking amazing photos with kids!

The service at this guesthouse is truly impeccable! From check-in to check-out, we were taken care of flawlessly. They proactively helped with luggage, provided information on nearby attractions, and even thoughtfully prepared snacks and toys for the children, treating guests like friends.

The guesthouse's common areas are fantastic! There's a cozy coffee bar with the aroma of freshly ground coffee; a spacious relaxation area perfect for gatherings with friends or family activities; and a quiet reading corner where you can relax and unwind.
The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding; the kids fell asleep instantly after playing. The only drawback was that the room we booked didn't have the best orientation and wasn't particularly well-ventilated.

GGuest UserPo seclusion: Located on Mingyue South Street, Liujiang Ancient Town, it is Mingyue Water Street and Shiban Street Food Street. There are many ancient houses around, and you can see the bustling street view of the ancient town and feel the rich fireworks of the city.
Internal environment: the new Chinese decoration style is full of Zen, elegant and without losing the sense of design, the inn has all kinds of piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, and a strong cultural atmosphere, making people feel like they are in a quiet art hall.
From the balcony on the roof of the inn or the open-air balcony of the room, you can overlook the green mountains and green waters of Yuping Mountain and Guangming Temple, and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery, which makes people feel refreshed.
Room facilities: There are a variety of room types such as naked couples room, new Chinese-style beauty room, terrace room and other room types to choose from. PPumpkin TanVery welcoming at the hotel, nice view. Upgraded us to a room with balcony, warm flooring , clean room and facilities. Went to their restaurant for dinner, they offer we may eat in our room, but we ok with having dinner at the restaurant. Food tasted great. The breakfast though simple but was nice and yummy. We love the ”小度‘ smart home as well as the projector tv. Watched 2 movie. Great. The view from the room & balcony were super.

CCoco yangThis hotel has a sense of design. When I chatted with the boss, it turned out that my daughter was really designing. In the ancient town homestay in the mountains of western Sichuan, it is still a bit pleasant to have this tone.
The boss was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for us. What to eat for breakfast is to ask our taste first. The roof garden breakfast is beautiful. The sight and scenery are beautiful. This kind of homestay owner is worth recommending.

GGuest UserOur family of three stayed in a family room. Since our children were adults, we called ahead to confirm three beds, which were very comfortable and not crowded at all. The hotel was very nice and clean. There were three hot springs, and the front desk lady was very helpful, providing tips and services. Unfortunately, our arrival was delayed by heavy rain, preventing us from climbing Mount Emei. Instead, we drove to the nearby Liujiang Ancient Town and Guangming Temple. Guangming Temple is highly recommended, and a must-see if you're not in a hurry. The temple also offers vegetarian meals, rice paddies, lotus ponds, and a hydrangea gallery.
So, even if you can't hike, staying at this hotel is a great way to relax and recuperate. It's well worth it.

When the sun comes out in the afternoon, accompanied by music, it is really healing. There are books to read downstairs, booths for leisure, and a strong aroma of coffee. ZZhangyixianshengThe hotel is great, with plenty to do nearby. Thank you for your understanding, even though it was a bit of a hassle! The living environment is also very nice, and the value for money is quite high! We drove to Wawu Mountain with our son from Luzhou, and stayed in Hongya for another night on the way back. We chose this hotel, slept in naturally and didn't go for breakfast. The hotel is really good, though. We stayed in a high-definition cinema room with a free membership, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby!

GGuest UserObjective evaluation, first look at this hotel review and see a terrace, then open the reservation interface and set it directly, but only after I went, I knew that the first room type was on the first floor, and I couldn't see the lake. There was a wall outside the window, but this even if I didn't look at all the room types.
Second, the general location is still OK, very close to the lake, it is more convenient to eat or something.
Third, health and facilities are indeed general, the bathroom has a taste, the projection is old, but considering the remoteness of the area, it is reasonable.
Fourth, the check-in experience is really poor, the voltage is unstable, so the lights have been flashing during the rest, and the sound insulation is very poor. I was woken up without waking up in the morning on the first floor. I have been noisy. The bedroom at home is closed. There is no way.
Overall, this price is not cheap. If this price is slightly remote in Chengdu, you can also live in a better chain, so it can't be compared with the chain, but considering the remote location, the surrounding scenic spots are not incomprehensible, so in general, the price is mostly in the location, As for the accommodation experience, it is probably around the pass line.
