During my stay there she also provided helpful suggestions about where / what to eat nearby and saw me out of the hotel to the taxi on the morning I left as it was raining. Highly recommend.

The hotel service is decent and reliable; they're responsive to requests, which is commendable for a town this size. Overall, the room hygiene is acceptable. I booked a suite with a bathtub, and it was thoughtful of the hotel to provide complimentary bathtub liners. However, a minor drawback was that the used bathtub and liner weren't cleaned or removed by housekeeping. Overall, it's a worthwhile stay, though there's room for improvement in the details.
