It is located right behind the famous department store, Galeries Lafayette. It is a convenient location because you can access anywhere by foot, bus, or train.
I have stayed in a hotel in the 17th arrondissement in the past, but compared to that, the security was much better, and there were no strange people walking around early in the morning or at night, and it was not scary or noisy outside.
They change the towels every day, and the hotel was cleaned well, even from a Japanese perspective of hygiene. The shower has hot water quickly and the water pressure is sufficient. There is a proper hand shower.
However, the shower room is quite small, and my husband, who has poor eyesight, had some difficulty using it, so that may be the only drawback.
The room is just big enough to spread out one suitcase for airplane check-in, and the bed is packed, so it may not be suitable for people with too much luggage.
There is a large rack to hang clothes, so in our case, we hung two people's clothes (shirts, pants, light down) on it.
If it's your first time in Paris and you want to enjoy a Parisian view from your room, I don't recommend this hotel, but such hotels are quite expensive, and if you're going to be sightseeing all day and not in your room, I think it's better to stay at a convenient and inexpensive hotel like this one and go to the Arc de Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower to see the view.
The staff were all friendly and wonderful. This hotel is safe for Japanese people.
By the way, the elevator is old-fashioned, so it was confusing at first, but now I think it was an interesting experience. It's not uncommon in Europe to have no elevators, so I'm grateful that there is an elevator.
Attached are photos of the main street just outside the hotel, inside Galeries Lafayette, and a nearby cafe where locals can have breakfast. If you stay at this hotel, you can quickly access these wonderful views of Paris.
It was a good experience. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.
Plus:
Location location location.
You could pretty much walk everywhere n anywhere
Heating available in room
Minus:
Expensive for a small single room like that
Shower curtain has mould, and smell of damp cloth
Some room for improvement with air circulation, and humidity. After taking shower, the room feel very densed and humid. And the humidity is all trapped in the bed / quilt. Uncomfortable to sleep in.
The lift. It is old and classic. One would have to open the door when it arrives. You either love it or hate it.
I think I was somewhat misled by the picture on profile of the twin room and room with balcony before making booking. See photos attached for actual view for single room.
No room for negotiation for late check out even if I am willing to pay ( or I didn't get to expressed I am willing to pay. Check out time is 12, and my flight was 9.35pm. to be fair And provide the complete picture, the service desk did offer luggage storage option)
The front door is relatively narrow you could easily walk pass and miss it.
All in it is a simple but very old hotel with great location. You either love it or hate it.
The location is super great and breakfast is great, which have mini croissant, mini pain au chocolat and mini pain Suisse au chocolat, baguette, etc. If have more options of cheese will be better. The room is clean and comfortable, the environment feel safe and very nice. Highly recommend this place!
The staff is very nice and super helpful. We have a good experience in Paris!
The good thing about this hotel is its location. It is very close to the subway. However, the hygiene is not very good. The pillows smell of sweat. The first night, they gave us the wrong room, and we entered someone else’s room accidentally. Then they assigned us another room without AC. The second night, we got a new room with AC, which was broken the next night. Overall, the room is very mediocre but our 216 is relatively big, and the facilities are old. I will consider other hotels next time.
Everything was great. The staff was very welcoming. The room was small but very cosy. Breakfast was excellent. Location is great, very well connected. Would definitly come back
It’s a new Boutique Hotel with very stylish deco, Clean !! The staffs are very polite and helpful !!! I can say you feel safe when you staying in this hotel.
Central location, within 1 mins walk to Metro -Notre-Dame-de-Lorette - which offers direct transport to Saint-Lazare Train Station.
It takes you 20 mins to Gare du Nord from hotel !!
If you love shopping, the famous Shopping mall Lafayette and Printemp, it takes you 15 mins by walk from the Hotel Bloum. Very convenient and central in Paris ‘
I was staying for 6 days, the breakfast is very simple, without eggs and omelette, coffee is very simple too . Need to improve for the whole breakfast honestly !!!
I will stay again if I come back to Paris again !!!!
First, I would like to credit to all the staffs, they are super helpful and kind. I can keep my belonging at the hotel when I was away for 3 days.
Very good location and convenient hotel, walking distance to mall, metro, and supermarket. A lot of nice restaurants around. Small but comfortable room.
Clean and tidy. Big table to place your stuff.
Only thing to remind is the noise making by the cleaning truck in the morning around 6am. You may select some rooms that is not facing to street. Apart from this, everything is good.
The hotel is as described, located near a lot of restaurants and bars. Pros: comfy bed, mini fridge, good location, nice staff. Cons: the room is tiny, nowhere to put your stuff in the shower, pretty noisy at night as there’re a lot of bars that go on and on the whole night, and in the morning there’s some construction work. Overall we enjoyed our stay there.
If you are a literary youth, you should definitely not miss this hotel. Especially in winter, you can experience the life that Flaubert and Hemingway experienced in Paris before they became famous...
Excellent location, cheap price, and extremely bad environment.
It is extremely cold in winter. Only the pipes of my room heater are hot, and the radiator is cold... Several sockets and wires are exposed outside, and there are moldy unknown black objects on the wall. The white sheets have the effect that a black sweater has no hair after lying on it...
But the bathroom is very clean. Really clean. The room is a little worse, and it is very small.
But at this price, 400+ is okay to live in such a central location. The location is really good, only about 200 meters away from the subway station, and many other places can be walked to. This area is also very lively at night, with many restaurants and pubs to choose from.

JJinseLOGOI don't know why this store has such a low score, it is obviously very good, the location is very good, the surrounding restaurants, supermarkets, everything, it is not difficult to call a car, although the room is not big, but the scenery outside is very good, and the most important thing is that there is heating here, winter is really comfortable.

HHaitaixiongBecause the flight was cancelled by EasyJet, I stayed in Paris for one more night. The hotel is very close to Paris North Station, the room is large and the configuration is OK. But the corridor is a bit narrow. The front desk requires a deposit, which I didn't expect, and also requires a physical card, Apple Pay is not available.
GGuest UserWe had room 606, we went up to the 5th floor and then some fairly narrow spiral stairs. The room was good but very noisy due to machines that could be heard at night. We got a deal on Black Friday and that's why I think we got one of the worst rooms… the location is good, you have everything within walking distance and close by.
VVASILII IURITSYN
YYUNStayed for four nights and was really satisfied. It was very convenient to go there. There were Wenzhou food around, haha, a full meal, and Internet celebrity French food, Internet celebrity ice cream shop, convenience store, and a key point, Paris. Red and blue buses have stops near here, and breakfast is enough for girls.
GGuest UserThe room is small but clean. Water and soft drinks are provided. The room service efficiency is low. There is a young lady who can speak Chinese at the front desk. Other front desk staff are also very helpful and thoughtful. The hotel is located in a convenient location with many delicious restaurants around. The transportation is also convenient. The subway station is five to ten minutes walk away
