I first stayed at this Hotel in 2014 and was very impressed with the entire experience, so I valued this hotel and always wanted to return… 8 years later and I was extremely disappointed.
I booked a superior villa room, and we was given room 6. This room is located on the ground floor directly behind the reception reception desk on the ground floor. The receptionist (skinny white male, 40+ years old) who checked us in on 15/12/22 at 11:30pm was very rude, awkward and sarcastic during the check in process.
When we got to our room, we felt it lacked privacy being on the ground floor with only a wall between us and the main reception area, the Toilet was also in a separate room with no sink, meaning anyone who uses that toilet would need to open the door with their dirty hands and walk all the way to the bathroom to wash hands. There were also mascara stains on one of the pillows.
We requested if we could change to another room on a higher floor but to the same level for what we had paid for (superior villa room). The receptionist said this was fine, and changed us over to another room on the 5th floor. We were really happy and grateful until we got to the room, only to find this room was actually a downgrade to a ‘classic villa room’ which felt much smaller and wasn’t very nice. This also wasn’t explained to us prior to him changing our rooms over.
We returned to reception and asked why we had been out in a downgraded room, his response was he didn’t realise and this was a mistake in his behalf. I asked him if there were any other rooms to the same value as what I had paid for the superior room available on another floor. I was told out of the entire hotel there was only two rooms left, the one behind reception, or the classic room on the 5th floor which would be a downgrade. We reluctantly opted to stay with the original room behind reception. The receptionist was very smug and seemed to find this funny.
After settling in and falling asleep… 6:30am a motorbike wakes us up, as our room is located beside the main entrance and reception we hear every car or motorbike dropping off, or picking up guests, and every person checking in or out. 7:15am the bins are collected, again very loud and as our room is right next to this area we hear it all.
It really seems standards have significantly dropped since we last stayed. Service seems to be poor and cleanliness of the hotel not as good as before, an overall terrible experience and if it wasn’t so late when we checked in I would’ve booked another hotel because the receptionist was so rude.
On a side note, I must also say there was another receptionist who was working the night shift the following day (16/12/22) around 10pm and he was very friendly, helpful and a nice person. If I could give him 5 stars I would, but unfortunately the experience with the initial receptionist meant our experience was already tainted by this point. I doubt we will ever return unfortunately, and cannot recommend, unless your guaranteed a decent room on a higher floor.
The hotel is in a great location in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. It's very convenient and safe to go anywhere. There is a balcony on the 3rd floor of the house where you can see the top of the Eiffel Tower. It's very beautiful. The hotel service is very thoughtful. It was Christmas and New Year's Day when I stayed there. The hotel was very considerate and gave me handwritten postcards and candy gifts for 4 days. The breakfast was also very good. Unfortunately, the elevator broke down on the morning of check-out. I had to drag 3 heavy boxes down 3 floors. Then there was no one at the front desk. The waiter said that he had gone to repair the elevator. I had to leave at 8 o'clock to catch a flight. The car was waiting for us to go to the airport. The person who arrived at 8.25 was very anxious and angry. I threw the room card to the front desk. The bill was not detailed and I left in a hurry. Later I thought that I should have been charged more than 20 euros. Overall, it is very good. I just hope there are more staff and higher efficiency. I will stay here next time. Everyone is very friendly
I really liked the hotel. It is located in the 7th quarter, 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. It is perfect for walking! Everything is nearby. There is a store near the hotel, which has self-service checkouts in different languages, including Russian. The prices for the center are very reasonable.
The staff was friendly and welcoming.
We were unable to check in earlier, but they treated us to delicious coffee while we were waiting for the room to be prepared.
The room is clean and beautiful. It is obvious that it has been recently renovated, where the designer did a great job on the beauty, color combination and convenience. The Cocon room is small, but due to the design you almost don’t feel it, there are niches in the walls and lighting. In general, it is 200% cozy.
There were no problems with water (I read that other hotels have problems with hot water and pressure in the center), everything is great here!
A very small but beautiful elevator. The two of us with a small amount of luggage barely fit in there.
The downside is that the windows overlook a courtyard-well, where air conditioners and ventilation are noisy. It is a bit noisy with the window open, but there is a container. Also, early in the morning the cleaners were making noise in the corridor. Of course, we got up early, but if we decided to sleep longer, we would most likely be woken up by the noise of cleaning. The prices are high for accommodation, but perhaps the season also affected it. We took this hotel because of the location and beautiful rooms.
Overall, we were satisfied! I would come here again.
The room is not big. Only one of the two 36-inch suitcases can be opened. However, the facilities are very complete. We stayed there for four days. It is a good choice for people who travel in Paris for a long time. The washing machine and kitchen are very convenient. We bought eggs, yogurt, bread, ham and other things for 20 euros at the supermarket downstairs and ate them as breakfast for four days. In short, it is very convenient to have a kitchen. The washing machine has a drying function, which is also very convenient. The only drawback is that she does not take the initiative to clean the room, but it is not a big problem. The transportation is very convenient. The No. 8 subway is 200 meters away. The surrounding Invalides and the Eiffel Tower are within walking distance. We basically walked every day to visit all the attractions in the pass in the first three days in Paris. The distance is within 3 kilometers, and there is not much difference between taking the subway and walking.
The hotel facilities are high-end fashion, the location is close to the attractions, the Eiffel Tower Seine River is nearby, but the subway station is far from the hotel, taking a long road. There is no extra bed in the room, breakfast is charged, not bought. Did not see the parking lot
The front desk staff are polite and friendly. I'm so impressed by how the room styles and love how it was spotless. I really appreciate how the maid cleans the room. The amenities are great. They provide us with very good toiletries, slippers, and a coffee maker. I love how they have a minibar too. The hotel is located in a great location that is close to many landmarks, like the Eiffel Tower, the Rodin Museum, Hôtel des Invalides etc. I'm surprised at how quiet and peaceful the hotel at night was.
For the views, we stayed in the classic Baronne Double Room with the Eiffel Tower sides. Our room was on the second floor; there were some parts of the Eiffel Tower that were obscured by the trees. We stayed there at the end of October. In the morning, the Eiffel was covered by fog, but we still enjoyed the Eiffel light at night. To be honest, there were plenty of Eiffel Tower spots in Paris that were better than the hotel, but I don't regret staying here.
Hotel was nice but the receptionist who was in charge of my Check-in was extremely rude and awful. I requested to check in and she asked my name. She couldn’t catch my name and she just kept saying there is no name on the list. Isn’t it normal that you need to ask for spelling if you are the one who cannot understand?? Lazy PIC and unpleasant experience at the great hotel like it.
Highly recommended for family trip. Very friendly and helpful staff, making us feel like home during our stay. Location is also perfect, 10 mins walk from Eiffel Tower and 15 mins walk from the Alexander Bridge.
Location is opposite a metro station giving public access to the train stations and airport as well as Paris. Lots of brasseries are within walking distance as are major sights. The room was gorgeous, very quaint with paintings on the wall it’s a very beautiful, charming hotel with a private spa which you book with reception. A lovely stay thank you.
The hotel staff is very nice, today is August 6th, the front desk staff who helped me to check out in the morning is a gentleman, very sincere to help with luggage. However, when I checked out, an unbelievable thing happened to me. An impolite guest smashed a key on the desk at the front desk. I hope that the rude guest did not frighten the front desk staff, and I also hope that this incident did not affect his mood today.

GGuest UserNice hotel, near the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower, the top floor terrace can see the top of the tower. The room is small, but the layout is very beautiful and clean. The front desk is very patient and enthusiastic. The area is a safer area in Paris, so you can travel with confidence.

KKuailewangzi9999Trip.com I checked many online and finally booked Vinci Du. The location of the hotel is very good, less than 100 meters from the Seine River, opposite the Louvre. The hotel is small and exquisite, very Parisian, the front desk service is very warm, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is very comfortable, there are disposable slippers, it is recommended to choose this store.

GGuest UserAbout 15 minutes walk from the scenic spot, about 8 minutes to the subway station, quiet, clean, there is a hot water bottle, go early in the morning, the original room is not ready, but the front desk specially adjusted the room, timely check-in, the room is cleaned and the clothes are neatly folded. The overall price of Paris is high, and breakfast is no special plus points.

GGuest UserThe location is great but the hotel is run-down and in need of repairs. I was horrified to see that the lamp in the bedroom clearly hadn't been dusted in a long time. Stains all over the carpet. The room was not clean and it seemed totally neglected as many areas were damaged and not properly repaired. The minibar only had beer and juices that you could find at a cheap supermarket. No snacks. The staff was friendly but not very professional. I got the impression that nobody really cared about maintaining order in this hotel. There was no real hospitality.

FFENGThe location of the hotel is good, within walking distance to Le Pont Marshall and Rodin Museum. The hotel is on a small road. Sleeping at night is very quiet. Breakfast is average. There are few types. It is recommended to go to the cafe outside. The front desk service is warm. The room can add an extra bed.
