La Fantaisie

What a great stay at La Fantasie! I'd never heard of this hotel until I found it via Amex Fine Hotels. A great find. Firstly - this is an ideal location, completely away from the chaos of the tourist areas. However, it is close to everything you would want, including a metro stop not even a block away. There are plenty of amenities in the neighborhood including bakeries, restaurants, cafes, and a pharmacy. It's also very close to the Gare du Nord. Getting there is very easy either via metro or via Uber if you don't feel like lugging suitcases (costs between 10-14 euros) Breakfast was included for us via Amex (an excellent value) and the selection was very nice. Wonderful pastries, fruit, yogurt, and eggs, bacon, and sausage; all in beautiful surroundings. Rooms are very design forward and comfortable. However, our room was quite small, that is the tradeoff of being in a restored historic Paris building. You didn't come to Paris to sit in your room right? One thing I appreciated, they have a plug converter in your nightstand just in case you forget yours. Also, they have integrated wireless chargers in both of the nightstands! Bathroom toiletries were very nice as well. One final note - the spa and wellness space were great! We had very nice massages, which were steep at 190 euros but a treat for us. The real standout are the ”bains” and saunas. Gorgeous design, and they felt truly luxurious yet accessible. Best of all - they even have a snow machine for when you need to cool down after the hammam or the different saunas. Really great. We will be back!

Facilities: Average Hygiene: Not bad Environment: Not bad Service: This is the key point! First of all, the reception at the front desk is super five-star. When checking out, they actively asked if they needed a taxi. The speed was very fast. The lost items were in the car. The driver drove around the airport and waited there. Ten thousand likes

This hotel is the worst value for money hotel I've ever stayed in Paris, and the service is the most incredible and small. I called the airport service from the hotel. At that time, I was drinking at the Hemingway Bar in the Ritz Hotel, so I asked the hotel to put my luggage in the car and pick me up on the way. The hotel said that they would charge an additional 50 euro luggage fee 😹. If my things were picked up at another place, I would understand, but the car was directly from the hotel. I said I would never stay in this hotel again. The manager helped me cancel this fee, but I still find it incredible. The garden of the hotel restaurant is OK, but the food is very unpalatable. It's close to Avenue Montaigne, and it's petty!

I chose the hotel for the location and based on other reviews and was totally blown away. The location was very convenient for shopping, restaurants, and access to the rest of Paris. The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable, and charming with just enough modern technology. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond in every way. One member actually asked if I should put on jacket before I went out one evening. The concierge recommended great local recommendations instead of touristy options (they do offer VIP line access to Les Deux Magots if you're into that). Especially appreciated the Diptyque toiletries and Dyson hair dryer. I'll definitely stay again.
Juliana Hotel Paris

The hotel is strategically located on a quiet street just 6 minutes from the Eiffel Tower on foot. I would like to mention Ruiz for his impeccable attention to our family. He called us taxis, made reservations for us at a magnificent restaurant next door, and was attentive throughout our stay. With hotels like this, it is impossible not to stop traveling!! Whenever we return to Paris, this will be our home. Thank you Juliana!!

We really enjoyed the feeling of being in a private luxe family home at this boutique hotel. Richard is a wonderful host, and the staff all were excellent. They were very accommodating and eager to help us with all arrangements. The rooms we had were a good size for Paris, facing a lovely quiet courtyard, with big windows. The bathrooms were brand newly finished, great shower and all the amenities you would expect in a five star hotel. Breakfast was very nice, great selection of fresh food, and I recommend grab a table in the solarium or in the garden if it is not too hot in the morning. Excellent shopping about 5 minutes walk, all the major French department stores. It can be hard to find a quiet street in the middle of Paris, but this hotel has the best location and great beds.
