Decent hostel, very well located in a safe neighborhood, close to metro line 8 and the Champ-de-Mars/Eiffel Tower. The rooms are small, so it's difficult to find space to store your belongings. There are only small combination lockers, so it's impossible to put all your luggage in them. The bunk beds are average and there's nothing to put down nearby (phone, glasses, etc.). The toilet and small bathroom are separate in the room. It can be noisy with the bar located downstairs.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The bar was nice, the staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. It is also in a great location close to lots of nice bars and restaurants. I would recommend this hostel and would stay again. The only small concern was that there are no lockers but they have a small place to put your valuables.

I spent six nights there, and from the moment I arrived, I felt like the place was a scam. I booked it through their website, where I also booked breakfast. It was billed as a "continental breakfast." It was a hard baguette with coffee and juice. I told the receptionist that it wasn't continental, and she said she didn't know; it's impossible not to know that if you work in the hospitality industry. I always got the same receptionist, a very rude and unsociable blonde. The room cleaning was very poor. And the noise... the hostel is behind a chapel, so the bell rings all the time and is also very loud. But the worst part is that all the rooms overlook an internal courtyard where there's a bar where people drink, listen to loud music, show football matches, and everything until 11 or 12 at night. A terrible experience. I would never go back, nor do I recommend it. The kitchen was also very dirty and always smelled bad. The lockers they offer have a generic key, so if you want to store something important, anyone can open it with your bed number—nothing personal. And there's no room for your suitcase or purse under the bed.

The location is fantastic with two metro stations within 400 meters (Commerce and Felix Fauré)! There are grocery stores, pharmacy, pâtisserie, Sephora, The Body Shop...even a church next door (if you want to pray)! They have a kitchen that's adequate, a storage (that's free if you are staying and €15/day if not) and very helpful staff. I stayed 4 nights in 6 female dorm before going to other places in France and then for 3 nights in mixed dorm. The 6 female dorm was slightly better and cleaner. I was lucky enough to stay with all females in the mixed dorm. For all this 4 stars, one added star for staff and owner attitude! The day I arrived in Paris after 11+ hours flight, had to wait another 2 hours at border control. Hence was extremely tired and was functioning on auto pilot mode. Managed to burn a store bought sandwich while heating it in the microwave. The kitchen was filled with smoke and it's a wonder that the smoke detector didn't go off. Anyone would have been cross with me, but not the owner! She was kind, emphatic and understanding. Said accidents happen and understood that I was so tired. Even the reception staffs were so helpful, jovial and funny. Don't believe all the negative reviews, it's not deluxe luxury accommodation but they don't claim to be. There is €5 deposit in cash for the key card, they issue a receipt for it. Don't lose it and then blame them for refusing a refund. Once again location counts. I had online ticket for Louvre entry at 9:30 AM and be at Paris Opera House at 1:30 PM for a ballet performance. In between I even went to the National Musuem of Natural History. In between dropped in to hostel to change for the ballet!

Excellent Hostel. For the price I dont think it can be beaten. Very nice and friendly staff the bar is very nice and had a good vibe about it. 3 Ducks beer the best pints we found in Paris and the cheapest. Great location. Would highly recommend
