Замечательный отель, у нас номер был на 5 этаже, было тихо, но метро слышно слегка, но нам не мешало, на ресепшен всегда отзывчивый сотрудник, в отеле каждый день одинаковый завтрак, но за 18 евро это просто отличный завтрак, кофе, чай, круассаны, колбасы, мясо, очень вкусный сыр разный, йогурты, яйца, овощи и фрукты, джем, шоколад, соки! У отеля хорошее расположение, рядом станция RER в аэропорт, это Латинский квартал, рядом Люксембургский сад, у нас остались хорошие впечатления!

The front desk service is very good. The hotel is quiet and the transportation is convenient. It is next to the subway and bus. The breakfast is average. The facilities are average. There is no toothpaste, toothbrush or slippers. Remember to bring your own if you choose this hotel.

Although I communicated with the hotel via email before checking in, I hope to stay on a high floor to avoid the noise of the subway.
But the hotel still arranged the underground floor for me, and it was the room closest to the front desk. The subway was very noisy. It didn’t stop until about 1 am every night, and then started to make noise again around 6 am.
Coupled with the noise caused by guests constantly coming in and out and closing doors, I had a bad sleep throughout the trip.

Opposite Luxembourg Gardens, this hotel is in a sensational neighbourhood. It's close to Luxembourg Metro and everything is walkable. Hotel room is tiny, bed comfortable, bathroom beyond tiny. We are not big people, that bathroom was tough! Housekeeping staff wonderful. Location great, but we wouldn't stay here again.

We booked our stay at Hotel Des Mines 10 months prior to travel We specifically chose this lovely hotel for its ideal central location & spacious rooms as seen in pictures On two separate occasions I emailed the hotel requesting a double room situated on the high floor room We arrived 4 hours late due to airline disruption & was told by the night porter the lift was broken & we had a small double room on the second floor. The next morning I spoke to the manager & was informed they had no availability on the High floor despite booking this well in advance but we were offered a bigger room for an extra 30€ a night We chose to remain in the small double room & found the bed extremely comfortable & slept really well The mornings we sat down to a lovely continental breakfast but found if we arrived after 9.15am the staff were a little slow to clear tables & replenish the yogurts etc… Overall I would recommend this delightful hotel
