We stayed here at the beginning and end of a rail trip to Nice. The rooms are, as you would expect for Paris, quite small but serviceable enough. The bathrooms are tiny and the one in our first room was a miracle of engineering to get all that in the space of a large cupboard. Nevertheless it was all there and included very nice rainfall shower. Beds were comfortable and aircon efficient. The breakfast was comprehensive enough and the decor was refreshing. Staff were invariably friendly and helpful. Useful that although there is no room safe you can have an individual drawer safe in the reception area. The Hotel is a short walk from the Lamarck Caulaincourt Metro stop but do be aware that there is a flight of steps to negotiate across the road from the station entrance - so remember that when you are leaving and carrying luggage. Location of the Hotel is quite residential but there are plenty of places to eat and drink a short stroll away. Also easy to walk round the main points of interest in Montmartre - including the Sacre Coeur - but you will be going uphill a fair bit. Obviously the Metro being so close means its easy to get to the main sights of central Paris.
