La Villa Madame

The service staff at the front desk and cleaning/concierge and breakfast were very kind, hospitable, helpful and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to come back and hear about the renovations that are planned. The only suggestion I have is to have the croissant fresher (:-) hot from the bakery down the street) and to have the shower head higher with the water spray going farther out. I was on my heals at the back of the tub trying to get closer to the water sprayer.

Lovely hotel.

I loved this hotel, the street is adorable, tons of good restaurants and bakeries very close by. Best neighborhood in my opinion. Rooms are very small, but we r not staying inside anyways.

Comfortable room- less than ideal location The room was very comfortable- the beds were nice and it was clean. Our room was very large with the living area. The shower had peeling paint and black stains that looked like mold. There was only hot water for about 4 minutes. I would expect better for the price. Be aware- the property is right next to a school. It was so loud with screaming children when they were on their breaks. Even with earplugs the noise was extreme. The hotel requires you to return your key every time you leave, and retrieve it after every return. The garden was the main appeal for staying here, however when I went to sit, there was construction- workers tools were spread out and there was a lot of noise. The noise from the school made me not want to go on the patio at all. It was not pleasant or relaxing as I though it would be. The area is off the beaten path. There are 2 cafes across the street and a bakery, as well as French restaurant and empanada shop. Other than that you’ll need to walk a little further to get a variety of restaurants. While the room was large and comfortable I would not stay here again due to the noise and location.
