Great room, very friendly and helpful staff, and prompt housekeeping. Only complaint was that there was no hairdryer in the room, and the breakfast was only mediocre in my opinion

As others have said, this is a lovely hotel, very comfortable, quiet, great breakfast and helpful staff. Also great location - easy walk to the Seine, Marais etc and close to metro stations and bus stops. All of this was marred by an incident on our last evening when the wine we had ordered, which had been lovely the night before, turned out to be undrinkable, but the receptionist who had served us said we would have to pay for it anyway. We protested (politely) but to no avail so, thinking that maybe she didnt have authority to make that sort of decision, we decided to leave the matter and take it up next day at checkout. We were shocked and disappointed when the person on duty then, who had clearly been briefed about the incident, resolutely upheld the same line. We do feel that it is a shame that a hotel with so much going for it should spoil visitors' experience by what feels like a mean and petty approach: surely it is not worth doing reputational damage for the sake of 16 Euros?

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Ce séjour fait partie d’un forfait vacances d’Air Canada. La chambre est spacieuse et la salle de bain est moderne. Le lit est confortable. Les petits-déjeuners sont en formule buffet et tout est très bon. Personnel poli. Le seul point négatif est que l’hôtel est situé dans un quartier résidentiel. Pas beaucoup d’attractions sauf la Place de la Bastille et la Seine. On a croisé beaucoup d’itinérants. Une dame qui campant dans un abris-bus et plusieurs tentes sur le bord de la Seine.

Belle découverte cet hôtel, Le Marceau Bastille, du 12ième arrondissement, à quelques pas du métro Bastille et Gare de Lyon. Une chambre de belles dimensions, accueillante, aux couleurs douces et reposantes. Impeccable par sa propreté et son confort : un espace de rangement de bonnes dimensions avec coffre-fort, peignoirs de bain, chaussons, coin bureau, minibar, plateau de courtoisie avec cafetière et bouilloire, thé, café, tisane et petits biscuits aux beurre remplacés à chaque jour. Dans la salle de bain, rien ne manque : du séchoir à cheveux au séchoir à linge très pratique. Le petit déjeuner varié est servi au rez- de- chaussée dans un espace galerie qui expose d’intéressantes créations d’artistes. Personnel courtois, disponible généreux de conseils et de sourires. À l’accueil, le sourire avenant de Kevin efface toute lassitude d’un long voyage en avion. Merci à toute l’équipe de l’hôtel Marceau Bastille pour notre séjour inoubliable, de mai le 8 au 15. NB : L’efficacité de personnel d’entretien est digne de mention : il mérite un petit encouragement € ,chaque jour pour la qualité de leur travail.

Excellent little hotel. Wonderful staff, great breakfasts, really comfortable beds and good location. The reception staff could not do enough for us. The whole ambience is good and there are some nice little touches like the carafes of water and shoe cleaning machine.

Struttura elegante e funzionale, sita in una zona tranquilla a pochi minuti a piedi da Gre de Lyon e da Place de la Bastille. Colorato e di design, l'hotel dispone di una bella hall ed il personale alla reception è molto disponibile anche se non ho trovato nessuno in grado di parlare anche minimamente l'italiano. La camera era molto spaziosa, con disimpegno e servizio igienico con set di cortesia, accappatoio e ciabatte da bagno. Unico neo, almeno per me, il costo della colazione. Credo che 20 euro siano eccessivi, ma probabilmente si aspettano che tutti approfittino delle abbondanti colazioni americane. Per quanto mi riguarda, la piccola e graziosa pasticceria all'angolo della strada, ha assolto con pochi euro la mia colazione, grazie ad un discreto cappuccino ed ottimi croissant.
