We stayed 1 night at the Sookie hotel. It’s a small, nicely decorated coffee shop/hotel. The staff were for friendly and the breakfast choice delicious (but additional cost to room). Lovely treats in our room and a Nespresso machine.

The location was excellent, close to the metro and I felt safe walking on my own through the Marais back to the hotel after dinner at 10:30/11:00pm. The front desk staff were lovely - engaged but not intrusive. I really loved my room - it’s a cosy size which I knew would be the case in Paris but the decor was warm and comfortable. It was also very clean. I would happily stay here again.

Great location, very helpful staff. They all spoke English which was a great help. The air conditioning was a problem, we had two rooms, the smaller one cooled ok but the bigger was hot and sweltering. We were there during a heat wave and that didn’t help. Also the rooms had very little storage space. Overall decent experience but not a great value for the money spent.

A wonderful place to stay in the heart of Merais if you don't mind sweating a bit! The air conditioning system just doesn't cool well. However, the wonderful people who work at Hotel Sookie were incredibly kind and helpful, catering to our every need, including bringing high quality electric fans to both of our rooms. The hotel is not fancy, but it is clean, eclectic, with a boutique feel to it. The rooms are a decent size for Europe, with room for a sitting area (couch and table). The bathrooms are updated, modern shower worked very well with good pressure, the towels were white and thick, and the bedding was crisp, white, cotton--first class. The cafe was always busy, and I can attest that the chocolate banana bread is delicious. This was a nice, last minute find for us.

Lovely, helpful staff. Great location. Room was comfortable and quiet. Front desk was very helpful in ordering cabs. Excellent coffee and pastries in adorable coffee shop. The staff and service at the front desk and then the coffee shop could not have been better. My complaint was with housekeeping and maintenance . There were a couple of issues which were not addressed or took days to get resolved. The location of this hotel is perfect, in my opinion. I enjoyed my stay.
