Due to rush booking, I chose a hotel with a convenient location.
But the hotel randomly arranged the 2nd floor, and the door is full of dust...
The safe is also locked and cannot be used.

Un hotel tranquillo, poiché di piccole dimensioni, in una zona altrettanto tranquilla ma davvero strategica. Situato nell’8 arrondissement zona Madeleine, consente di raggiungere facilmente a piedi moltissimi punti di interesse: place de la Concorde, Louvre, Opera e molti altri ancora. Servita altrettanto bene dai mezzi di superficie e metro. Il personale della reception molto cortese e collaborativo , sempre pronto nel problem solving e nel venire incontro alle esigenze del cliente. Un ringraziamento particolare a Catherine per la gentilezza e per il prezioso aiuto. Camera non grandissima, pur avendo prenotato una superior double room, ma perfettamente in linea con gli standard parigini. Bottigliette d’acqua a disposizione gratuitamente. Solo un piccolo appunto che vuol essere costruttivo , una maggiore attenzione all’accuratezza delle pulizie delle camere sarebbe d’obbligo, vista la tipologia d’hotel e le tariffe applicate al periodo. Nel complesso una valutazione positiva.

The hotel is in the Madeleine area of Paris and a great base from which to explore most of the major sites. Myself and my friend had a twin room which was tiny but well finished for all that. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. There were toiletries in the bathroom and complimentary tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks in the bedroom. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a full schedule as we were only there for two full days and two half days but fitted in most of what we wanted to see mainly on foot but we also used the metro as the Madeleine metro stops were just round the corner from the hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Vendome Opera for a Paris city break.

Excellent stay
Excellent hotel in a very good location. Staff is outstanding! So friendly and helpful. The only comment I have is the size of the room. Like most Parisian hotels, room is very small. It is perfect for a solo traveler.
