Le Citizen was a great find! The location can't be beat...located next to the canal with many shopping and dining opportunites nearby...and three Metro stations within walking distance. The staff was friendly, and they served a quick breakfast each morning. The room was tiny, but very light and airy with a fantastic view of the canal and neighborhood...they even had air conditioning.

The Le Citizen Hotel adjacent to the Canal Saint-Martin Is a small hotel with 2 rooms per floor and basically no lobby, however, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff very helpful and nice, and the location excellent. My friend, who is a Paris guide, lives in the neighborhood and recommended the hotel. Good restaurants are close. Sitting on the canal bank after a busy day is peaceful and very Paris-like. This is not a tourist area, thank goodness, but a Parisian neighborhood.

Uno scorco di vita parigina sul Canal St Martin , delizioso quartiere nel X.La posizione è strategica, centrale e comoda a tutto ma in un quartiere molto tranquillo e poco turistico, si percepisce la vita del luogo ,lontana dai circuiti usuali . Le stanze sono deliziose,noi avevamo la stanza di medie dimensioni ed era enorme per due persone.Le camere offrono tutte curiosissimo affaccio sul Canale,sono abbastanza insonorizzate,ottimo lo staff, pulizia impeccabile,colazione basic con prodotti di grande qualità. Prezzi allineati con prezzi parigini,ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo .Ne ho visitati altri in passato e in questo tornerei.Consigliatissimo.

Hôtel hyper bien placé et très propre. En revanche sur Tripadvisor on ne nous montre que des photos de suites, or, les chambres classique sont très petites. Suffisantes pour une nuit mais il est bon de le dire. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas non plus celui des photos: vous avez au choix une viennoiserie, un thé ou un café et un jus d'orange et basta...Quand on attend son petit déjeuner on s'attend à autre chose, surtout pour le prix. Enfin, la télé propose une chaine de films....qui ne fonctionne pas. Mais bon, le personnel est aimable, c'est propre, et c'est déjà ça. On paye essentiellement l'emplacement quoi.

Très bon accueil
Surclassement proposé gracieusement. Les travaux pour lesquels nous avions été prévenus en amont n’ont pas posé de problème ni perturbé notre séjour.
Accueil très sympa, chambre spacieuse et confortable… vue sur le canal et le pont Arletty
Je recommande vivement et pour ma part je garde cette adresse dans mon carnet

Rigtig dejligt område og dejligt personale. Vi kommer helt sikker igen. Grunden til at vi ikke give MAX stjerne, er at hotellet var under renovering, under vores ophold, hvilket vi ikke var beviste om. Det påvirkede ikke selve opholde, men vi kunne ikke opleve Le Citizen helt som tiltænkt. Men et fantastisk hjælpsom personale og beliggenhed.
