My plane arrived late and my check-in time was past midnight, but when I contacted them, they were kind enough to wait for me. thank you very much!

What a convenient train station hotel! We were greeted by the welcoming Miguel. He was helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable about the hotel and the area. Our room was ready! I always ask for a quiet(er) room and when he showed us our ground floor room right next to the elevator, I began to protest. The noise, I said! You won’t hear a thing, he assured me. And he was correct. What was nice about the king bed room was that it had French doors leading to a little patio. Because of the drizzle no one sat out there with a drink or smoke, so it was ideal to crack open the door for fresh air and made the compact room seem bigger. The room was small but made good use of the space. The included breakfast the next day was in the small lobby: scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, jams, juices, fruit…the usual fare. I didn’t realize this until after we left but the hotel plastic key holder envelope included a map detailing among other things, the nearest pharmacy, ATM, laundromat, and supermarket. I would highly recommend this hotel if Gare de Lyon access is critical to you.

Excelente hotel, pequeño pero con todo lo necesario, elegimos una habitación un poco superior a la básica y hemos estado muy cómodos, daba al patio y se duerme excelentemente sin ruidos y la cama muy cómoda, carece de armario, solamente colgadores y dos estantes, es lo único que mejoraría. El desayuno muy bueno, el personal muy atento y la limpieza perfecta, geles y cremas de calidad, caja fuerte y nevera, y perfecta comunicación con el centro con boca de metro a 1 minuto que te deja en el centro y excelente conexiones con el aeropuerto.

Vom TGV herkommend, geht man auf der rechten Seite vom Gare de Lyon direkt zum Hotel, ca. 200 m. Ebenfalls direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich die Metro-Station. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, ID-Karte kopiert, unterschrieben, WiFi-Code und schon eingescheckt. Das Auschecken ging ein paar Tage später ebenso schnell. Wir hatten Glück und erhielten ein ca. 17m2 grosses Zimmer im 1. Stock. Bei einem Brand ist dies von grossem Vorteil. Wir hatten ein schönes, wohl frisch renoviertes Zimmer mit allem Komfort und einem funktionellen Badezimmer. Allerdings haben wir noch nie ein 4-Sterne-Hotel ohne separatem WC gesehen, ausser eben in Paris. Die Klimaanlage konnten wir gut gebrauchen, war es doch an diesen Tagen bis 28° heiss. Für uns das Wichtigste war, dass wir super gut geschlafen haben. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht, da es ja keinen richtigen Frühstücksraum gibt. Es ist eher ein Aufenthaltsraum, offen und direkt neben dem Empfang mit tiefen Tischchen und Sessel. Geht einfach mal um den Block und es gibt viele Frühstücksangebote zwischen 5 und 10 Euro. Zum Schluss noch was Negatives: Anstelle eines Kleiderschranks gibt es einfach 2 Ablagetablare, wobei uns beim oberen eine Staubwolke entgegenkam. Im Badezimmer Waschtisch fehlte der Ablaufstopfen. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und werden auch gerne wiederkommen.
