Hotel Mayflower Paris Opera

The hotel greeted us with a sluggish and indifferent reception, whose room was ready only at 4 pm. They did not offer anything: no extra breakfast, no services inside, no call a taxi in advance on request. The elevator was broken the entire time of our stay, we had to carry heavy suitcases up the steep wooden stairs to the 3rd (actually the 4th floor). The room was tired and uncomfortable. Strong audibility through the door, especially when they clean very loudly and noisily. After cleaning, they did not put capsules for the coffee machine, which is available. I had to go and ask for them at the reception in the morning. The flush button in the bathroom was broken and if it was not fixed, the water continued to flow noisily. For some reason, the safe is in the wardrobe, which is why it is impossible to hang anything normally, it can be perfectly placed in the bottom drawer of the wardrobe. The only good thing about the hotel is its location: there is a great Brasserie Jaja nearby, a Monop supermarket, buses to the very center, the Opera and the Saint-Lazare train station are within walking distance. I do not recommend the hotel, look for another one in this area, or even better - an apartment.
