Résidence Charles Floquet

Oh wow! The apartment was the most perfect accommodation! The view of the Eiffel Tower (which was only metres away), its proximity to transport, cafes and restaurants was wonderful. The apartment was very stylish, perfectly clean and just beautiful outside and in. Great amenities, three bedrooms and three toilets. We are so pleased we chose this and Suzan and Xavier were so lovely! Thankyou… we’ll be back that’s for sure!

1/ We reserved the penthouse and it was very very old and rundown. You will get a good view, but that's absolutely it. The apartment is very run down. You can go to Four Seasons for the same price and have incredible service (we definitely wish we had!). Other suggestions for nice 5 star hotels: Shangri‑La Hotel Paris, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, The Peninsula Paris, Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel, Peninsula Paris, Hotel San Régis Paris or any other 5 star hotels nearby. The service at the Residence Charles Floquet was sub par, and the place was not clean. No access to food onsite was a big downfall also. Overall not a good place to stay with kids. 2/ The staff was absolutely horrible, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. This was unacceptable. The manager who was emailing me prior to our arrival, Suzan, was nowhere to help. Come to find out, on our way out, I asked the person at the front what her name was and she responds "Suzan". She didn't even introduce herself! I had to ask for her name as we were heading out. When asked why she had not responded to any of our emails throughout our stay, she responded "she was on vacation and she does not check her emails while vacations". Honestly, shocking answer. Do you not have anyone else to follow up on guests while you are on vacation? The email address was not specific to her, it seems anyone else would have access to that email and could have assisted us if shew as not there? On this same topic, the communication with the staff is extremely poor. We requested a crib prior to our arrival, we were even told they do not provide crib sheets, but will have a crib in the apartment for us. There was no crib in the apartment. 3/ When we checked in, we were asked to fill out yet another long form filled with so many questions, such as date of arrival, date of departure, ALL info about your flights, etc. They already had all this info, but they make you write it out on a piece of paper upon arrival!?? This made me feel like the 15 min online survey and prior email communication were pointless. When I asked why I was filling this out, the person at the front desk took the paper away ! I believe this was just a way to delay giving the keys because it was 3pm and the apartment was not ready for check in. 4/ An email to check in on us, left completely unanswered by the director. Why check in, if you are not there to help? or if you don't plan to respond? Dear Guest, Welcome to the Residence Charles Floquet.
