The photos in the pictures are misleading. These public facilities no longer exist and people cannot enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. The bar staff said: These are public facilities from 10 years ago and have been closed long ago! So don’t be fooled by photos again! The cleanliness of the guest room, the trash is full but not tidied up, the cupboards are cleaned but not pushed in! Luggage storage is expensive, 10 Euros for 6 hours!

Another great stay at my go-to hostel in Paris! The staff is the sweetest, the rooms are spacious and the place overall has everything you might need. I once again want to emphasize on how close the subway station is, it’s just so convenient. The canal St Martin is also within walking distance from the hostel, which is amazing if you’d like to go for a little scenic walk.
The rooms and bathrooms are usually pretty clean, of course it can be a little cleaner some times than others, but nothing ever alarming. I’m not super picky about this as long as the spaces are cleaned daily so if you’re chill about it too and understanding of the hostel way of life, I definitely recommend Generator!
