The hotel is clean, comfortable, and staffed by people who actually seem to enjoy helping you—a minor miracle these days. The air conditioning works just fine, though it does take a midday nap while you’re out. Thankfully, it cools the room back down fast enough once you return, assuming you beat heat stroke on your walk back. Now, about the key policy: you’re required to turn in your room key every time you leave, like a teenager borrowing dad’s car. It’s not a huge hassle, but still—feels a bit like hotel security theater. Time to upgrade to 21st-century keycards, folks. While we’re at it, let’s talk toilet paper. I’ve seen friendlier textures on tree bark. Whatever budget this place is on, I’d suggest spending the extra euro per night for something that doesn’t feel like a personal vendetta against your backside. It truly is the disappointment of the trip. The shower’s tight enough to qualify as a yoga pose, and the location is fine—right next to a metro stop, which is either convenient or loud depending on your luck. But the staff? Genuinely great. The man who checked us in deserves a raise, a medal, or both. Bottom line: I’d recommend this place—just don’t forget your own toilet paper.

I was very impressed by this hotel. It has everything to make a hotel stay a pleasure. From the beginning when I had to make a bank transfer in French for my reservation up to the front desk attendant helping my wife and I load our suitcases into our reserved transport to the airport. Monsieur Rafic and Mme Corinne PAIRON were outstanding in assisting us with the reservation, daily information a pleasurable attention with a smile every day. The breakfast is quite complete and delicious. Housekeeping service was one of the best that I have seen in hotels from 1 star to 5 star hotels. The room was quiet (5th floor) and spotlessly clean every day. We have stayed many times in Paris hotels and this stay was one of the most satisfying stays that I can remember. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff at this place were so nice. The provided us lots of extra information for Paris and we really pleasant to deal with. Room was decent and location is really good - next to metro stop - Republique.
